Chapter 2

"Hello, brother dearest..." I greeted him as soon as the man walks out.

"Don't you dare come near to that man," He said in a serious tone. "He's dangerous."

"He's hot." I innocently smiled at him. He lift his right eyebrow at me giving me a warning glare. "But I don't even know him, so..."

My brother rolled his eyes at me. Inangkla nito ang kaniyang braso sa aking balikat habang pumasok kami sa kaniyang opisina. He walked towards to his table where his nameplate was placed in front.

Umupo ako sa sofa, I crossed my legs while scanning the whole room. The office was now far different from before. Marami na ang pinagbago lalo na sa interior design nito. Marble tiles, black and white walls, tinted floor to ceiling glass walls, the papers are very organized from the shelves, his table is very neat. It was very unlikely of him, makalat kaya itong tao.

"Nahawaan ka ba ni Jules sa pagiging OC?" tanong ko. Kaagad naman napa-taas ang kilay nito sa akin. He was leaning against on his table while crossing his arms. I smiled at him. "Or character development lang." Bawi ko. Baka paalisin pa ako nito madali pa naman itong mapikon.

"Wala ka bang trabaho ngayon?" He asked.

Umiling ako sa kaniya. "Kahapon lang." Tumango naman ito sa akin. " Oh, and by the way, pupunta ka ba sa party ni Leah?" I asked him when I remembered our talk with Jules last night.

"Paano mo naman nalaman na may party si Leah?" Naningkit ang mga mata nito.

"Baka nakalimutan mo, best friend ko si Jules Acosta."

He scoffed. "Nakalimutan ko nga, sino ba 'yan?"He sarcastically asked as he take a seat on his swivel chair. I frowned at him. Napaka-init naman ng dugo ng lalaking to sa kaibigan ko.

"So pupunta ka nga?" Pangungulit ko.

Humugot ito ng malalim na buntong hininga at saka kinuha ang kaniyang Ipad. His brows were furrowed as he scan through his schedule. I put a tight smile on my face as I looked at him, patiently waiting.

"Yes, pero hindi ako magtatagal." He finally said after a few minutes.

"Why?"

Kumunot ang noo nito sa akin. Nagtataka ang mga titig dahil sa tanong ko. "Anong 'why?'"

I pouted. "Why hindi ka magtatagal?"

"May kikitain ako," sagot nito sa akin. Ako na naman ngayon ang nakakunot ang noo. Sino naman ang kikitain nito ng gabi. "Ng gabi? Kuya, adik ka ba?" Tinaasan ko ito ng kilay.

My brother throw me a dagger look and I immediately shut my mouth. "I'm meeting with an investor. Kung ano-ano ang pinag-iisip mo diyan."
