spring has sprung and the flowers of love have blossomed.

love.

beautiful yet tiring.

love.

the cause of happiness and my stress.

[p.sh]

"great." i curse under my breath as i drop the book onto the table before me, not caring to hide my anger. the sound of the book falling onto the table echoes throughout the library, causing some looks to be thrown my way.

beside me, i hear yeosang - my best friend, the only one who gets me, the most precious flower in the whole world, giggles finding the whole situation a little too amusing.

"so what did your little guide tell you?" he asks and i look at him with an expression of clear annoyance.

"it pretty much told me to figure it out myself." i sigh dramatically as yeosang leans over to read the guide, humming as he read the sentence "they can figure it out themselves."

he turns to me and catches my facial expression.

"stop glaring at them" he whispers. yeosang nudges my sides with his elbow, trying to make advert my gaze from the group of four that has been the cause of stress since the moment i saw their threads.

"they're oblivious fools! how can i not?" i whisper-yell back.

the problem is a group of four best friends who just happen to be two pairs of soulmates.

"well, why don't you write about your frustrations in that little notebook you have." he says in a mocking tone that i sense immediately.

"do not make fun of my notebook. i worked hard on it." and i did in fact work hard on it. twelve-year old seonghwa who just couldn't wait for his nineteenth birthday, decorated the pink notebook that i use today with a variety of cute stickers - both of the front and back covers. the notebook also had a little message on the first page: "may you pair every soulmate on this planet."

now i, twenty-one-year-old seonghwa, is struggling with this simple love square. well, simple is not the right word to describe their situation.

i sigh dramatically again before taking the notebook out of my book-bag. i then begin to fake cry as i open it to the bookmarked page with my pen in hand. yeosang laughs at my display of emotions. he peers over my shoulder, reading the notes with me and also whispering some information that he had recently found.
