Chapter 1: Death

My name is David Baptist, I was diagnosed with terminal cancer and only have 6 months to live. Because of that, my girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend and my family is in debt of 1,500,000 for hospital bills. It has been only my mom and I that lived together before I was diagnosed and after paying off the house she did not have any money left. I know I only have 6 months, so I decided to spend my time doing what I enjoy instead of wallowing in sadness. And I told my mom to enjoy her life while I'm gone and protect herself after telling her how things went with my ex.

I am a huge fan of cultivation novels from China. Although I was born and raised in Haiti, these stories caught my attention. And I just finished reading a novel about the Dao Ancestor and his journey to become who he is now. Let me tell you, This guy is a genius. One that has a rare occurrence in billions of years. But I never got his hatred for primordial beasts.  Just when that thought came to, everything went dark.

David: "I guess this is the end. If only those stories were real, this world would be more interesting."
Drowsiness overcame me, and I fell into a deep sleep.

In a cave deep in some forest, there is a Black egg the size of a giant's head. Vibrating slightly until it cracks and   glowing rainbow colors, the light from the egg's cracks become brighter and brighter until a blinding light shoots out from the cave entrance.

A small black snake crawls out of the egg and opens its eyes.

David thinking: where is this? It looks damp and wet. There is rocks everywhere. Wait... don't tell me I got reincarnated like in those novels. This is awe.. huh? Where's my arms? Where's my legs?

Looking at this panel, David thought: so I'm a snake, no wonder I don't have any arms and legs. wow, this is so weak. I don't know where I am, not even when. Going out with these stats is just jumping to my death. I can't leave until I'm strong enough to defend myself.

David: Entity cleansing and purification pill? Let's see the information on it... Wow, this is so much better than the body cleansing and purification pills I read about before. These pills cleanse and purify your whole being; soul, spirit, body, and true energy. These pills are powerful. If I use them, it can increase my qualifications by a large margin. In this cultivation world, I know it is strength that speaks for itself. So, I will train and get as strong as I can possibly get before going out.

David: system, fuse one entity cleansing pill.

First, the snake scale gains additional scales on top that was first clear then become more and more dirty and starts to crack and finally shed, also shedding the newborn skin. Removing the impurities from the blood, bones, flesh, muscles, accupoints, veins, heart, snake gallbladder, and all the major and minor organs. As a result, opening every single meridian in the body. This process was repeated at least 10 times to fully remove every impurity in the body.

Next the energy from the cleansing pill goes to the soul space and completely infiltrated my soul which was just a ball of blue light that was dim at first. The light becomes dimmer as time goes by and all of the impurities from the soul are removed to leave a ball of pure white light that is shining extremely bright. Although the size of the soul becomes smaller as a result, the purity is way better than before.

Then, the energy travels through and opens the sea of consciousness which was dried out and a little foggy but you still can see clearly. The energy then starts to clean the whole space which was about 10000 meters wide and deep and also cleanse the foggy energy making it pure. Repeating this process 10 times.

After a while, I felt exhausted so I fell asleep. I get the feeling that until the energy finds nothing else to clean it will continue to repeat the process until everything in my whole being is clean.

David thought: "Just let it clean until all the energy is exhausted like I am."
