Chapter 6: Trial Pagoda

Looking at the description of the trial pagoda David becomes excited. He has been practicing for 3000 years in acceleration and his cultivation reached golden core perfection. But there was no battle experience.

David: "with this pagoda, I will finally gain battle experience that I was lacking. I have many techniques that I mastered from the system but I haven't really put them to use. This came at the perfect time."

David took out the trial pagoda in the pond. The tower grows into a massive 9 level tower. But these levels are separated by floors, every level has 99 floors.

David enters the tower.

The surrounding space changes into a large plain field. Suddenly, the ground starts to shake and 10 golems rise from the ground.

The golems eyes glow red, then attacked.

David: "My first opponents are 10 golems. I don't know how strong these golems are?"

With the snake body control technique, David moved and slid in high speed between the gaps to avoid any hits. Then swiped with his tail, crumbling all the golems.

{First floor passed}

David: "That's it? I guess that was expected. It is only the first floor."

The surroundings changed again into a forest.

Countless tree branches extend and attacked the moment the scene changed. David was caught off guard thinking there was a shirt break to catch his breath. But narrowedly avoided the branches.

Extending his divine sense, David scans the surroundings to check where the tree branches are coming from and finally found it.

David sneered: there you are. Sneak attacks are all you can do.

David then activated his supernatural ability meteor rain and controlled it precisely so only one meteor falls.

The next second a massive ball of fire fell from the sky hitting the target precisely.

{Second floor passed}

The environment changed again. Now David is inside a volcano where there are 50 flaming lizards rising from the magma.

All of the lizards are moving in groups of five and surround David. Then blast fire from their breath.

David responded by avoiding the blasts with the snake movement technique. The lizards fire breaths one team at a time. As time goes by they are still relentless in shooting at David.

David: "Damn! don't they run out of energy? The ones that are not firing at me are covering. So that's how it is... Looks like I have to find a way to end this fast."

David: "Since they are firing at me continuously...have a taste of my lightning."

*Lightning rain*

Thunder clouds form and fuse with each other. Then Lightning falls relentlessly on the lizards for about five minutes.

David: "This should be enough to get rid of them right?"

As the dust clears up, the lizard beasts David sees that the lizards beasts was not destroyed in that attack so he decided to charge one more attack to finally kill them.

{Third floor passed}

As time goes by, David challenges the first 50 floors. Each floor is harder than the last. Some has more opponents while others have higher realms. All of which have different environments so David would be comfortable fighting anywhere in the future.

David: "with my current strength, I can only fight until the 50th floor on the first level. Now that I reached I have enough battle experience, the control over my techniques and supernatural abilities have deepened. It is time to breakthrough the next realm."
