Chapter 5: Sign in

The moment the blood starts to fuse with David, his blood heats up and flows more rigorously. The bones crack and create openings like it is welcoming the blood essence. The Primordial pure Dao physique activates and refines the blood drops and essence. The blood and essence infiltrates the major and minor organs, bones, veins, blood, acupoints, and meridians. The Primordial Chaos Sutra automatically activates and refines the dragon blood and essence.

Although David took the entity cleansing and purification pills, it did not cause him to evolve. Only, the blood and essence of a true dragon allow him to evolve. And even then, with of the strength of his physique from exercising the snake body cultivation technique to Cultivating the first chapter of the Primordial Chaos Sutra, It takes more dragon blood and essence to successfully evolve.

Checking all the changes in his body, David seems to have grown to a thousand meters, and have 2 horns growing from each side of his forehead. With the evolution, he sheds his scales growing flood dragon scales.

Once finished checking his body, David then checks his sea of consciousness to find a massive book that looks like it has 100,000 pages.

David thought: I guess this is the inheritance the system was talking about.

After opening the book and digesting the first chapter which was about 10,000 pages. This was mostly about the history of dragons through time and the evolution path to become a dragon.
There are many beings that can become dragons, like humans in the future but their strength as a dragon is limited unless they fully transform their whole being into a dragon, they will always be weaker than a true dragon in the same realm. Even some genius dragons that fight across realms would be at the humans who transform into dragons. Most of the stories about humans making dragons their mounts were talking about the carps that evolved into dragons because their strengths are similar.

Another one is the golden carp, which leaps through the dragon gate to become true dragons. Although this evolution path is stronger than the humans who become dragons, the difference in strength is minimal.

And lizards that have dragon blood evolve into earth dragons. They are strong and have stronger defenses but that doesn't come close to a snake that evolved into a true dragon. Because snakes eat lizards and fish as an appetizer. They have a higher starting point, and go through trials and tribulations to become true dragons.

David sneered: "I guess I lucked out being a snake instead of a fish. And looking at my stats, I got about 5 times stronger though evolving."

Dragons are in the apex of the food chain and the sons and daughters of heaven. The best creation of the Dao of this chaos verse. This caused them to have emense pride and might.

Suddenly spiritual energy forms a vortex and enters my sea of consciousness. Then a dense golden fog was formed and continuously expends. After which, the fog starts condensing golden droplets creating a small pond. It did not stop there. It continues to increase in size and volume to become a lake. Now, David's sea of consciousness looks like a golden lake with three 12 pedal lotus flowers hovering over.

By reading the evolution process and history of dragons, David's sea of consciousness broke through and a heavy aura oozed out of his body spreading out from the cave to a 10 mile perimeter from the cave.

David: Is this the dragon's might, the novels I read kept talking about.. It's interesting. I wonder what the effects are on the opponent. And my soul strength broke through.

After reading and comprehending for a while, David reached the chapter about dragon's might. It actually affects the opponent's soul and inflicts fear to disorient them.

David: "So that's how it is."

After reading the first chapter, David stopped and wanted to break through core formation. So he started Cultivating again.

After evolving, it did not take long to break through, but that wasn't enought. David continued Cultivating until he reached the peak of golden core realm, which only took about 2 months. By mastering multiple techniques and supernatural abilities, the foundation was extremely stable and firm. And Using true dragon blood and the Primordial Chaos Sutra as a foundation, creates the strongest foundation.
