|Ah'neko| 📍home 10:38 am/ outside. ____________________________ My mom pulls up to our house. I see balloons and confetti everywhere.
"Ready?" She asked. I nodded. We get out of the car after she turns it off and walked towards the door. My mom unlocks the door and once it gets opened. Everyone pops out and surprises me.
I was still in my gown by the way. "Neko babyyy" tay said running towards me.
She jumps in my arms while cam, melo, and Nelson came towards me. "We missed you" we were just with her last night tay" Nelson said.
"Hi baby" I said to melo , going over to hug him. "I'm just happy you're okay" he said.
"We have something for you neko come here" tay pulled my hand to go to the couch. I sat down as my friends and melo sat down. Everyone gathered around.
A presentation for a welcome home party is different to me. Not complaining though.
"Okay everyone, thank you guys for coming and welcoming my baby neko and congratulating her on her scholarship to LSU" my mom announced.
Everyone claps.
"Uhm I won't do too much talking, so let's just play the video" my mom said , pressing play on the tv and then dimming the lights.

That's when it was a moment of silence. Until a video came up.
"Hey neko girl" Waddup neko" Flau'jae and angle Reese popped up on my screen. My jaw opened. And so did everyone else. "OH MY GOD NEKO" tay said. She sounded like she didn't know anything about this.
My mouth was just wide. "Congratulations on your scholarship on lsu. We will be happy to work and play basketball with you. Yep I said it, girl you're playing in games with us. Your flight to Louisiana is next week. See you soon boo" they waved. Then the video ends.
Everyone screams and my face is just stuck. Cause no way.
"CONGRATULATIONS" I heard from everyone. I need to get to practicing and shit. This is really big.
And the fact I wanted to graduate from lsu to. Like I'm too happy.
"I'm so proud of you baby" my dad said. I then smiled. I felt my eyes tears up.
"WHERE THE MUSIC AT, TURN MY BABY UP" my mom yelled. Music plays and I got up from my seat.
Me, cam, tay, Nelson, and melo all walk to a little corner. "Y'all knew about this?" I asked not upset though.
"Well tay didn't. Cam managed to get in contact with lsu. And boom he told me and melo" Nelson explained.
"Thank you guys so much." I said hugging them all.
"Now , for this schedule. You're having practice all this week. So you need to be ready. And by the way , we are coming with you." Cam said.
"That's fine I wanted you guys to come anyway." Good because you're parents aren't going" cam said. Which made my smile drop.
"Wh-why what happened?" I asked. "They want you to enjoy yourself without them having to be in the way." Melo said.
I nodded. "Okay. I understand it's okay." I said,
I cared a lot. My mother and father didn't want to come see me practice with them? That's not an actual reason. But I won't stress about it.
"Okay well, let's get back to this party and enjoy ourselves cause we have a big practice tomorrow" cam said. I agreed and went where everyone was.
