Alex's POV
I laid in bed with my thoughts. I couldn't think of much else besides her, but every time I pictured her face I felt butterflies. After the first kiss, we ended up leaving not much long after. I walked her home, where she grabbed me again and pulled me into another kiss. I didn't mind it at all, as a matter of fact I couldn't wait for the next opportunity. I heard the door open and slam shut. He's home. He sat on the bed next to me.

"You get the invite too?" He pulled out a similar looking envelope.

"Yeah, are you going?" I asked.

"What do you think?" He laughed.

"You never miss a party," I rolled my eyes.

"You don't want me to go?"

"Even if I didn't, you still do what you want to do anyway," I reply, turning over to face away from him.

"I heard you went out with her today."

"What about it?"

"Tell me about it!" He punched my arm.

I sighed out of annoyance, "Nothing happened."

"You liar," he grabbed my shoulder and flipped me around.

"You took her on a date and absolutely nothing happened?" He stared at me.

I shook my head, it's none of his damn business.

"Well if nothing happened then maybe you won't mind that I take her out-"

"NO!"

He flinched at me, "Why not?"

"We kissed alright?! Happy?" I covered my head with a pillow.

There was a small pause. Then hands grabbed me and pulled me up. He threw the pillow off my face.

"You kissed her?!" He was inches away from my face.

"She kissed me," I shoved him off.

"What do you mean she kissed you? You didn't even make the first move?"

"No, I didn't. It just happened." I leaned against the wall.

I ended up telling him how it happened. His mouth hung open toward the end, and he punched my arm again.

"Stop doing that!" I held my bruise.

"You didn't ask her to be your girlfriend?" He crossed his arms.

"No Dean, I didn't," I admitted.

"Don't tell me that bitch is getting to you."

I stayed silent. Faith hasn't crossed my mind much, now that he mentions her it seems like all the reasons I can't be with Dahlia came flooding back. I looked down and picked my fingers. He slapped my hands.

"Don't do that. She clearly likes you and I know you like her," he pulled his phone out and looked at it.

"You don't know that," I replied.

"You guys kissed. I don't kiss people I don't like," he rolled his eyes and put his phone away.

I didn't answer this time. He was right, but I just couldn't wrap my head around this. After just a couple days, can someone have feelings like that for the other?

"Stop confusing yourself you look like a dork," he got up and flicked my forehead.

I slapped his hand away from me.

"Listen Alex if you want her, I think you should go for it. What about the party? You could ask her then," he shrugged.

"Go away Dean. Oh, and don't use cologne to mask up the dope smell. It makes it worse." I laid back down and turned away from him once more.
