5.2 Senior Chang is pursuing a Beta

There was a brief moment of silence after that bragging introduction.

Xie An was in thoughts of how the second male lead was his lover this time, that he did not notice the Alpha that was holding him started to sweat.

"My parents are very open and friendly, they don't usually interfere in my business. I also have the monthly cafeteria card that can be used for any meals. And I-"

"Pfft! HAHAHAHA!" Xie An immediately withdrew his thoughts the moment he heard Chang Ru's voice.

Xie An's body shook with laughter in Chang Ru's arms. He almost fell back from laughing too hard if not for Chang Ru tightening his arms. 

His lover's character settings never worked in front of him. Was this puppy-like guy holding him to the cold school grass that everyone raved about?

"What's wrong? Is there anything that you don't like?" Chang Ru looked at Xie An nervously, as if Xie An confirmed that he disliked him, then Chang Ru would break down on the spot.

Xie An shook his head and put his arms around Chang Ru's neck. His face was full of smiles as he looked into Chang Ru's eyes.

Chang Ru, who was feeling insecure, was startled by the boy's intimate action. Soon enough, spring appeared on his face as well.

"Why do I need to know about your family? Your studying? And your...money??" Of course, Xie An knew the reason, but hearing it from the cold school grass would be so much more fun. 

"Because..." Finally, Chang Ru realized he was being too aggressive toward someone that he just met for the first time. However, the person in his arms was not rejecting his advances, even wrapping his arms around his neck. 

Chang Ru, whose expression was unchanging the whole time, raised the corners of his lips. 

He was self-aware of his popularity, as so many Omegas and Betas approached him at the start of school. But, he never cared for such things, he only focused on learning to take over his family's company. He turned away from all Omegas and Betas as soon as they approached him, and they gave up soon enough, seeing his attitude. 

Recently, a new Omega classmate had been pestering him to tutor him, making him incredibly annoyed. He was going to the teacher's office to request a seat change if Omega kept invading his space. Who knew he would have a love at first sight with the love of his life? Thankfully, it seemed to be the same for that person as well.

"Can I... pursue you?" Chang Ru asked. He actually wanted to ask Xie An to be his boyfriend but he was afraid that he was not showing enough appreciation and respect towards Xie An,

"...?" Xie An was surprised to hear that his lover did not ask him to date right away. Who was this? Was this really his lover?

Xie An looked at Chang Ru suspiciously but could not find anything else in his eyes besides affection. Soon enough, he figured out why and could not help but feel how cute his lover was.

Xie An nodded his head happily under Chang Ru's intense gaze.

"Chang Ru?! W-what are you doing?" A person's loud voice interrupted and popped their pink bubbles. 

Behind Chang Ru's back was a small, cute male student being completely shocked. Huh? Xie An realized that person was Fu Xue, the protagonist shou.

Xie An looked at the Omega up and down, making the Omega's body tense up before suddenly realizing something and glaring back at him. 

"Did this person force you, Chang Ru?" Fu Xue suddenly stomped forward to them and tried to grab Xie An's shirt.

Seeing such a rude action toward his beloved, Chang Ru frowned and turned away from Fu Xue's touch. Xie An became wrapped in Chang Ru's arms, being completely covered in his embrace.
