// Reminder: My version of vampires are different, meaning they have reflections in mirrors but they react slightly different to it.
Marley's POV
I let out a soft groan, beginning to gain my consciousness back, becoming aware that I was in the bedroom with Milena resting beside me. I sat up, gently caressing Milena's cheek to wake her up. A small sigh of relief left my lips when I saw her normal blue eyes. "Shit...this is like a wake up call, isn't it?" she asked me with a small groan. I helped her sit up, wrapping my arms around her in an embrace. "Yes, it is a wake up call. Things are not perfect anymore. That's called life." I told her the hard truth, before we both heard footsteps coming towards the bedroom, and then the door opened.
Without saying a single word, Mabel joined us on the bed and she wrapped her arms around us, sighing happily as if nothing major had happened. "So, how was the date without me?" she then asked us. We gave Mabel a stare, feeling threatened by her exposed fangs. "We couldn't stop thinking about you." Milena ended up replying. It wasn't a lie and Mabel knew it wasn't as she leaned forward and gave Milena a kiss. Milena didn't kiss her back, as she was quite freaked out by what was going on. Then, Mabel gave me a kiss, causing me to react the same.
"What's wrong?" Mabel asked us, concerned. Wait a second...
"Take a look in the mirror." Milena ordered her.
"Milena..."
"Okay. I don't see anything wrong about my appearance, but sure." Mabel said, annoyed with Milena before she got up from the bed and went over to the body view mirror, seeing her own reflection. She stared at herself for a good couple of minutes, touching her face and then she touched her own fangs. "How..."
"That's what we want to know. How did you get...-"
Suddenly, Mabel let out a small shriek, making me and Milena jump out of surprise. "M...My reflection...she's talking to me! Or am I talking to myself?!" she asked out loud, beginning to have a panic attack as she grabbed her own hair with widened eyes. I got up and went over to Mabel, looking at the mirror with her. It was just a normal reflection. A mind trick, maybe...
"Make her go away! MAKE HER GO AWAY!!! PLEASE!!!" Mabel screamed, before her eyes rolled back and I watched her pass out, unable to catch her in time so the mirror shattered all over her.
"Milena..." I began, "Don't 'Milena' me, Marley. I am not in the greatest of moods. I'm going to have a hot bath, you deal with Mabel." Milena cut me off, causing me to have a urge to slap some sense into her but I wasn't that person. I watched her go over to the bathroom, slamming the door.
I picked up Mabel, placing her on the bed and I carefully picked out the little shards of mirror from her body, watching her wounds heal in just a couple of seconds. It was oddly fascinating. What did Mabel see in that mirror? She said during her panic attack that her reflection was 'talking' to her.
I placed a gentle kiss against her head, before she woke up. That was quick...
"Is the mirror gone?" she asked me, "You fell into it, so yes. It's gone. I will throw it away later." I replied. "That was a good mirror...so many fun memories." she said sadly, remembering that time...
Not now.
"I apologise on the behalf of Milena. Whatever you did..."
"I know what I did. I was rough with her. I have to apologise first." Mabel told me, "Okay, well she's in the bathroom. Just...don't do anything psychotic." I told her back.
"What? Psychotic? I'm not psychotic..."
"Sorry, wrong word." I quickly said, before she nodded and she got up from the bed, also going over to the bathroom and went into the room.
Please don't argue, please don't argue, please don't argue...
