BEEP BEEP BEEP
I hit the alarm and rolled over on my bed deciding whether or not going to school was worth it. I finally get up and take a shower before quickly throwing on a red cami with my go-to black hoodie, skinny jeans and my white converse. I went with just a basic lipgloss and headed downstairs to play on my on phone while I wait for Stiles to come and pick me up. When I heard the distinct sound of the car horn, I ran outside and hopped into the familiar blue Jeep that I have come to know so well. The entire ride to school Stiles couldn't keep still.
"What is up with you?" I decided to ask him.
"Last night when we left Scott behind in the woods something bit him and I really want to see it" He replied. I looked at him like he was crazy.
"You're a freak". Honestly, I'm not too keen on witnessing someone's side that now has teeth marks and blood. He just shrugged at me and continued to wiggle in his seat like a spaz.
As soon as he pulled up at Beacon Hills High School, he shot out of the car to find Scott, leaving me struggling to keep up with him as usual .
"Okay, let's see this thing." He asked his best friend excitedly.
I grimaced as Scott lifted his shirt to show the bite mark covered in a white gauze and tape with blood seeping through.
"It was too dark to see much, but I'm pretty sure it was a wolf." Scott told us as he pulled his shirt down and started walking to the entrance.
"A wolf bit you?" I asked him with a slight chuckle, not believing him.
"No, not a chance." Stiles dismissed the idea.
"I heard a wolf howling," Scott replied.
"No, you didn't," Stiles stated quickly dismissing his belief.
"What do you mean, 'no, I didn't?' How do you know what I heard?" Scott replied, getting frustrated.
"Because California doesn't have wolves, okay? Not in like 60 years" Stiles retorted.
"Really?" Scott slumped his shoulders looking rather disappointed. Poor kid.
"Yes, really. There are no wolves in California" Stiles ended as if he were talking to a two year old.
"All right, well, if you don't believe me about the wolf, then you're definitely not gonna believe me about when I tell you I found the body." Scott stated proudly.
"Really?" We both practically shouted at him.
"Oh, god, that is freakin' awesome. I mean, this is seriously gonna be the best thing that's happened to this town since," his head snapped towards a certain strawberry blonde strutting up to the school. "Since the birth of Lydia Martin. Hey, Lydia, You look - Like you're gonna ignore me" he said the last bit slightly quieter when he realised she wasn't paying any attention.
She then stopped suddenly, turned around and started walking in our direction. Stiles lifted shoulders and put this weird smirk on his face. "Heyy" he started but stopped when she grabbed my hand and started pulling me with her while she started walking in the other direction but quick enough that I didn't hear the beginning of Stiles' next conversation with Scott.
"You're the cause of this, you know" he stated, making me giggle lightly.
Lydia stopped abruptly and turned to face me. "Sky, if you didn't look so damn cute in that I would be really mad that you ditched the clothing I layed out for you."
"Uh, thanks?"
She loops her arm through mine and we head down the hallway towards our first class. "It was a compliment."
