"Are there yet" a whine from a 17 year old can be heard, "Asher I told you it's going to take a few hours" Felix replied, eye still on the cookbook he;s been reading for the whole road trip.
"Aghhhh" more whines fill up the car
"Move your hand" Hiyeon moves her brother's arm trying to get a signal for her phone.
"Enough all of you! I will turn this car around" and everybody stops, the kids have never heard their father yell that loud.
"Jeez old man" Asher mumbled quietly to himself.
A few years back after Hyunjin and Felix got married, they decided to adopt, they wanted to adopt younger kids, as they wanted to be in their life from beginning to now. They first adopted Hiyeon when she was 6 months old and then after a few months they adopted a 3 month old Asher. Hiyeon is now 18, and Asher is 17.

"Are we there yet" Asher asked, it's been 3 hours since they left their home, Felix was now sleeping and so was Hiyeon, which left Asher and Hyunjin all awake alone.
"Dad, I asked when are we there yet!!!!" asher screamed continuously, having enough of ashers tantrum he grabbed a water bottle, while one of his hands is still on the steering wheel
Hyunjin threw a water bottle at him,
"3 more hours now, shut up!" Hyunjin said
"What are we doing once we get there?"
"You're one talkative kid," Hyunjin mumbles. Asher grabs his dads shirt from behind the seat and yanks it "Answer my question old hag!!!" "Get your fucking hands of me before i throw you out of this car and leave without you!"
Yells can be heard by the son and father through the Hwangs car, Felix wakes up because of the noise, angry he ended his lovely dream early.
"Enough of all of you before I use this cookbook on you and make you into a meal!"
Hyunjin and Asher immediately stop arguing once they hear the angry man,
"Sorry papa he started it, he said he was going to throw me out of this car" Asher fakes being vulnerable, using his cute dog eyes, bringing his papa to side with him.
"This bi-" Hyunjin thinks, immediately scared for his life now.
"Don't say that to my cute little child" Felix smacks the back of hyunjins head, Hyunjin pouts, cursing his son in his mind. "Am I not cute?" Hyunjin asks, also putting on his fake vulnerable act. "You're the cutest!" Felix replied, pulling his mouth into a kissing action, Hyunjin smiled, setting the car on automatic , then leaning into felix, smiling at his cute goofy face "kiss me now"
Asher stares at the lovey dovey couple in front of him, almost having the urge to throw up, he looks around and sees that now Hiyeon is awake, she's staring at god knows what, while she tries to remember where she is and who she is.
This is going to be a long trip

"Stop the car!!!" Asher yells, making his dad automatically stop the car, "What" Hyunjin yells afraid they left behind something important and only noticing that now
"I need to pee!!!" Asher whines, Hyunjin sighs, driving the car to the side of the road so they can take a break
"Oh thank god, I need a stretch" Hiyeon immediately gets out of the car stretching her entire body.
"Move move move!!" Asher yells running into the woods, Hyunjin lays down, giving his arms a break, Asher comes back, yelling at family to come see what he's seeing
Everyone stares at before walking towards Asher
"Wowww" Hiyeon mumbles at the view in front of her, and so do the others, it's beautiful. The lake is very lake and tall trees beside give its best features.
"Can we go swim??" Hiyeon yells, running towards the lake, Felix catches her, holding her in his arms, "Nope princess, you don't have any change of clothes" Felix says, letting go off her sighing as he watches both his husband and son running towards the water splashing each other, Hiyeon runs towards the lake now joining the water fight.
Felix should be mad, but he's not, not when they all look so happy, he immediately takes his phone out wanting to catch this moment,
"Papa, come join us!" He hears Hiyeon yell, he smiles also running towards the water, splashing his husband and his kids. Making memories.
Sad to say they never reached their destination as they had to go back, due to an upcoming storm.
Two days later, the whole family got sick, but according to Felix it was worth it.
