"Jay Bindal," I whispered, my voice trembling. The name felt like poison on my lips, a name I had hoped never to utter again. The mere mention of it brought back a flood of memories, each more painful than the last.
Reyaansh's eyes softened looking at my condition but then his expression hardened again, the rage he had been holding back now coming to the surface. He stood up abruptly, his hands clenched into fists, the intensity of his anger almost palpable.
"Jay Bindal," he repeated, his voice low and dangerous. "What did he do to you, Aira?"
I looked up at him, my heart aching with the weight of the memories. The fear and pain were still raw, but I knew I had to face them, to tell him the truth. "He... he made my life a living hell," I began, my voice breaking. "He stalked me, harassed me, made me feel like I could never escape. I thought I had left him behind, but now... now he's back."
Reyaansh's expression darkened further, his eyes flashing with a dangerous fury. "Why didn't you tell me about him before? Why didn't you let me help you? Why did you kept this from me!" He shouted
I swallowed hard, feeling the tears threaten to spill over again. "I thought I had escaped him. I didn't want to burden you with my past. I wanted to start fresh, to build a new life with you. But now..."
Reyaansh knelt down in front of me, taking my hands in his. His touch was gentle, but there was a fierce determination in his eyes. "Aira, you're my wife. Your past, your pain, it's all a part of you. I want to share that burden. I want to protect you from anything and anyone who tries to hurt you. Jay Bindal won't get away with this. We'll stop him, together."
I looked into his eyes, seeing the unwavering love and commitment there. It gave me strength, a lifeline in the midst of my fear. "I don't know how he found me," I said softly, my voice steadier now. "But we can't let him destroy what we've built."
Reyaansh nodded, his grip on my hands tightening. "We won't. I'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe, Aira. We'll get through this, I promise."
In that moment, surrounded by his strength and love, I felt a glimmer of hope. The fear was still there, the memories still painful, but with Reyaansh by my side, I knew I wasn't alone. We would face Jay Bindal together, and we would not let him destroy the life we had built.
As Reyaansh pulled me into a fierce embrace, I felt a surge of determination. Jay Bindal had returned to haunt me, but this time, I had Reyaansh. And together, we would make sure he could never hurt us again.

As Aira cried on my shoulder, her sobs gradually turned to soft, even breaths. She had fallen asleep, her face finally finding some peace. I gently scooped her up and carried her to our bed, carefully placing her down so as not to wake her. I pulled the blanket over her, making sure she was comfortable, and leaned in to kiss her forehead. She needed rest, and I wanted her to feel safe.
Quietly, I made my way out of the room, the door barely making a sound as I closed it behind me. As I turned around, I saw Veer standing there, his expression a mix of concern and curiosity.
"Hey," I whispered, not wanting to disturb the fragile calm that had just settled.
Veer nodded in acknowledgment, his eyes flicking to the closed door behind me. "How is bhabhi?"
I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "She's exhausted. Finally fell asleep."
Veer took a step closer, his face serious.
"What is going on?" He asked with stern face.
As Veer listened intently to every detail, Reyaansh felt a weight lift from his chest as he unburdened himself, revealing the depth of Aira's past torment and the insidious presence of Jay Bindal in their lives. The betrayal, the fear, the anguish—all laid bare before Veer's understanding gaze.
When Veer finally posed the inevitable question, Reyaansh felt a surge of determination coursing through his veins. Jay Bindal had inflicted irreparable harm upon Aira, his beloved, and had now dared to encroach upon their lives once again. The very thought of Jay's audacity, his malicious intent, fueled an inferno of rage within Reyaansh's soul.
In a voice laced with steel, Reyaansh declared his intent without hesitation or remorse. The man who had callously struck his brother with a car, who had attempted to breach the sanctity of their company's private sector, who had inflicted untold suffering upon Aira—he would meet his end at Reyaansh's hands.
Each word dripped with a potent mix of fury and resolve. There would be no mercy, no forgiveness for someone who had caused such pain and chaos in their lives. Jay Bindal had crossed a line that could never be redrawn, and Reyaansh was prepared to mete out justice with his own hands.
As he spoke, Reyaansh's gaze burned with a fierce intensity, his jaw clenched in silent determination. Veer could sense the gravity of his brother's words, the unwavering resolve that lay beneath the surface.
Together, they understood the path that lay ahead—a path fraught with danger and uncertainty, yet one they would tread with unwavering resolve. For Aira, for their family, for justice—Reyaansh would stop at nothing to ensure that Jay Bindal paid for his sins, even if it meant confronting the darkest depths of his own soul.
