"TETE." I cheesed as I came down from my room trying to be nosey just to see my mom and auntie Grace talking.

"Hey boo." She smiled as I hugged her.

"We was just in here talking about you." My mom said as I sat down with them on the couch.

"Mwah?" I asked.

"And yo' big head brothers." My mom said and we heard a beeping noise.

"Ugh I'm getting paged at the hospital." My mom said.

"When you gone take a vacation?" Grace asked.

"I don't even know." She sighed going upstairs to her room to get ready to go back to work. As she went upstairs I continued talking to my auntie.

"Okay I'll be back love y'all." She rushed out the door and closed it.

"So." Grace looked at me. "What happened at that party?" She asked. "Like what lead up to Elijah pressing charges on Skye but dropping the charges on your brother." She said.

"Okay so before I started hanging out with Skye, I met Elijah at footlocker but i wasn't really interested at the time. So then me and Skye left together at a party cause all our friends were boo'd up so we just left got some to eat and went home and after that i did his hair and we just been hanging out every since." I explained.

"And that's when yall started bonding and you spending the night with him and stuff?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"You naive just like me, just being in the moment too much to acknowledge i'm actually catching feelings. I think that's the best part though...unintentionally liking someone and just ending up together, that's how you know it's genuine." She said.

"I guess you can explain it that way." I agreed.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing." I smiled.

"You feel guilty don't you?" She asked and my smile slowly faded away.

"I just don't wanna be labeled as a bad person, I knew what I was doing was wrong and just because Elijah didn't treat me right doesn't make what I did right." I said.

"Then I kept it away from everybody i could've told my brothers i didn't have to do that." I said.

"You was just protecting your peace and that's okay, your brothers are overprotective but they'll get over stuff quick as long as they know you're okay." She said.

"And as far as feeling guilty about Elijah...that'll go away." She said.

"Wait did you feel guilty about something too? With Casey." I referred to Chaos.

"I never told anybody this." She said grabbing the wine bottle refilling her glass. "But." She trailed as she sat the bottle down and took a sip of the red whine.

"I had a boyfriend when I met Casey." She said. "Sweetest boy ever, he was nice, respectful...smart. He adored me so much." She reminisced. "His name was Dallas."
