Canada GP, 2024
6 seconds. This is what it took for the crowd to shut up in one of the most frightening silence after long screams of shock. The only thing that could be distinguished was the voice of the commentator. The rest? Silence screamed out in horror.

They were lovers.
Why didn't it last? They had everything for them. Until Pierre abolished the era of their duo within the team.
Pierre left Alpha Tauri for Alpine.
Maybe at first it was just strange, for them, to not being able to be so close. It was supposed to be an ephemeral reaction... change is never comfortable, is it? Yet, Yuki couldn't stand it anymore. From his point of view, it was equivalent to a defeat; the fact that the whole world was was aware of their relationship.
Tears rose in Yuki's eyes. The same relics that reflected the love he had for Pierre in his soul.
In his car, in the middle of the race and thinking back to the day before, the poor man, who had filled with panic and anxiety, had never experienced this before. Moreover, it was the most reasonable solution to remedy this situation.
"I want to break up with Pierre."
The words resonated in the room, even if Daniel knew this would happen sooner or later. The origin of their feelings were not adapted to their profession anyway... They already talked about it, but it was too hard. Pierre didn't understand why, and Yuki was afraid to communicate more. But Pierre's frustration was obvious and understandable; Yuki still loves him. The entire paddock felt this tension, but they couldn't do anything about it. Time would fix things...
The pilot of Alpha Tauri, pained, did not pay attention to what his engineer told him on the radio, and the water in his eyes blurred his vision... It was only when he finally heard his interlocutor shouting insistently that the Japanese driver turned his head to see Ocon's car trying to overtake him. Their wheel hung before Esteban ended up in the grass. Yuki hit the barrier before his car was upside down in the middle of the track, unable to move after the shock. Now he realized that not overthinking too much was useless, he had more important things to do before that moment; obviously he did not realize it until it was too late.
A little scary, but basic accident. A red flag and everything will get better. Everyone thought that in hearts.
But the inevitable happens. Within a second of them was Leclerc, leader of the race with a lap advantage. Not having time to react he rushed into the Alpha Tauri. Sending 360° in the air what remained.
The commentators try to describe the events as the cries were heard in the stands, seeing smoke before reducing completely in silence for a few seconds. Unable to see the scene in front of them, a sweaty Dutchman suddenly stops his car to go help Charles who was only slightly injured. As for Esteban, he escaped unscathed and leaving his car with vigilance.
The other pilots returned to the pits. An ambulance arrived quickly, the doctors taking Tsunoda's body, which seemed too little alive. Blood dripped on his suit, it was a disaster.
In the Alpine box, people could hear Pierre more than anything. Only a few cameras managed to film him trying to reach the ambulance on the track with insistence and sobs. Why? Why Yuki? They didn't talk for a day, maybe more, he did not know that it was going to happen, he was afraid not to see him again. The second he saw his team-mate coming back in the box, he yelled at him, pushing him against the wall. Reason did not burst into his mind. Both of the drivers of the French team were in the wrong and at fault for this story, but neither of them officially knew it.
