Molly's P.O.V.

Aaaaaa!!!! I was late for collage. That damn alarm! If you were alive, I would have throttled you with my own hands. I had just 25 minutes left. I clutched the alarm in my hand with an annoyed look.

Why do you always do this to me? Whenever I need to attend an important lecture, that awful alarm creates a mess. Now, this was a big mess. After realizing why I was talking to a non-living thing that couldn't understand, I hurled the alarm in anger. I had already wasted 5 minutes in that kind of wasteful conversation. Now only 20 minutes were left, I was just try to encourage myself and try to get ready. Debated whether to take a quick shower or not, but not taking bath it was not good as I smelled my body. I rushed into the bathroom, taking a lightning-quick shower only for minutes to get rid of that dangerous, stinky smell which could knock out a small army. I wiped my wet body, dressed in a plain pink t-shirt and skinny jeans. Don't try to think that I like pink color. I wore it because I had no other choice. Now if I don't like it, so why did I have this one? The only reason was my mom. She believed I looked like a fairy when I wore pink clothes like Barbie. She brought it by herself and send to me, considering we lived in different cities - she in Jeju and I in Busan. I then walked to the kitchen as I tightly tied my messy hairs with a rubber band. Just as I held the handle of fridge and going to open it I glanced at my wristwatch. What the hell, only 12 minutes left? Time was running fast. I stared at the fridge, then at my wristwatch in a dilemma, feeling torn. After seeing the time, I released the handle of the fridge as let out a frustrated groan under my breath.

Once ready, I slipped on my shoes then grabbed the key was placed on the table beside the door. Wondering my eyes on all of my stuffs which I grabbed, to make sure I had everything I needed. Finally, I stepped outside my door and took a deep breath. When I was doing everything in fast speed, I just felt like I was a female version of flash. I never left home without breakfast because I could not bear my hunger. I just felt, I will die if I will not eat anything. Now it seemed that everyone would soon realize I was a bona fide foodie. Who live to eat and what made things worse was that I hadn't had breakfast, and this was a first for me. However, I could eat my lunch at lunchtime if I would survive till the lunch break. This hunger would kill me. Snapping off all thoughts, I leaned over to lock the front door.

Walking down the road in speed of light, as groan to myself. Suddenly I felt like why does this road feel so long? God, please help your favorite kid, I whine. I know I am your favorite kid. Just as I was having this one-sided conversation with the Almighty, a taxi pulled up beside me.

"Excuse me, ma'am, would you like a taxi? You seem to be in a hurry." The driver leaned out the window and asked politely with small glee.

I was whispering to myself, Molly, you can't get to college with your own legs. It's better to take a taxi. You have enough money for a taxi.

"Okay," I said, rolling my eyes, and climbed into the taxi.

Before entering, my eyes roamed in a taxi. That taxi looked like new. I think that the driver knew what I was thinking.

"You are my very first passenger." The driver said as glee.

While he was talking to me, I couldn't help but notice that the taxi driver was well-dressed.

As I walked along the road before hailing a taxi. I thought I will buy lunch from canteen because I had enough money for today's lunch, but now I was in a taxi, it seemed I wouldn't be able to have my lunch. I was going to waste my money for taxi. My soul was yelling at my fate. I clenched a fist and punched on the seat beside me. The sound startled him, and upon catching my irritated glare in the rearview mirror in the car, that driver was frightened it was written all over his face. "Mam". He began hesitantly, as his head whipped to me.
