I WAS JOTTING down some notes from the instructions along with the notes I took earlier which I wrote almost asleep.

Everyone was working on their project talking about some ideas and all. Once I finished with the notes I looked on over too sleeping Isaac and hit him with my note book.

"Ow, what the heck!"

"Wake up, we need to finish this and your helping." I said sternly.

He scoffed and put his head in his hand leaning on the table.

"So what are we doing again?"

I rolled my eyes "were doing an easy? You really didn't listen at all did you."

"Ya know, if you keep on rolling your eyes back they'll be stuck that way."

"And what made you think you're gonna be smart today?"

He glared at me "Anyway, what do you want me to do?"

"We'll will split it. I'll do the first lesson and you'll do the second."

He nodded and grabbed his notebook writing down some ideas.

A few minutes had passed and almost half of my notebook was covered in a scratch of our essay. I looked on over to Isaac's notebook and saw him doodling on his paper.

Seriously how did this guy make it this far in school?

"Hey what's up with you and Elijah?" He suddenly spoke up and looked up at me "what do you mean?" I continued writing.

"Well you seem to always talk to him."

I looked at him with a smirk on my face "Why are you jealous, Garcia?" I said teasing him.

"What no! I'm just asking." He quickly defended.

I giggled "Nothing's going on between us we're just friends."

"You need to be careful around him."

"Why do you suddenly care?" I looked up to him concerned. "I know what he's like, air. He's not as kind like you think he is."

"Wow, Isaac Garcia is looking out for me?" I sarcastically said.

"Shut up. But seriously I'm warning you." He continues to doodle on his paper getting nothing done.

"Instead of doodling, why don't you try writing something so we could finish this project quicker."

"What? It helps me get ideas."

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at him. He shrugged and continued what he was doing.

How did I get paired up with this guy?

I got in line at the cafeteria with Brooklyn beside me.
