"So I'm a fucking sacrifice or some shit?" He whispered over to Jisung who flinched at the word 'sacrifice'. Chan began to ramble on about the years and years of history behind the prophecy, but the human didn't care to pay attention. The orange eyed man shook his head, his eyes not detering from their leader.
"Not a sacrifice. An... offering. Sacrifices die and are temporary. The prophetical offerings to us are forever," he explained, before looking into Felix's eyes, "You will not die. Actually, you're never going to die. But-"
"I won't die?" He asked confused at this whole situation. Jisung opened his mouth to answer. Jeongin placed a hand on Jisung's shoulder.
"Stop."
The shorter blonde eyed the two of them, "No, tell me. I'm not dying?"
Jeongin sent a sharp glare Felix's way. It only made him feel more desperate for the information. He huffed and looked back at the infuriating redhead who seemed to be everyone's soul focus, besides the newly discovered demon lords.
"-this will be the beginning to a new era. An era of wrath. It may not be pleasant to the eye, but it's surely new," he paused, his body facing the other demon lords (that were still someehat hard to believe that they were demon lords). His malicious, red eyes floated over every one of them before meeting Felix's, "We have waited generations for this moment. It is nothing compared to the prophecies. Lust and Gluttony have begged for his protection. Pride has offered his hand. Sloth has acted in favor of him. The others are still learning about and from him, but it is truly remarkable what this young, innocent soul has done."
Felix's face turned skeptical as he was deep in thought. He didn't like all these words they were using. Enchanted, prophecies, malicious, evil, innocent. None of those did Felix believed applied to him. Many of which did not.
"Okay, cut the bullshit," he announced loudly, making the crowd gasp in horror. He stepped towards Chan, "First of all, I'm not some stupid innocent soul. I used to be a drug dealer in high school so let's not go there."
The blonde could hear some of the guys biting back a laugh. Chan seemed intrigued, but not angry. Felix stepped closer to the stage looking at the club that has just recently been so horrifying. His eyes darted over the room before back at Chan.
"Secondly, this prophecy thing sounds like some pure bullshit to me. Some human was chosen to be a offering and can develop some demony powers and not die? Yeah that's funny. How the hell does that work? Can you tell me that? And why in fucksake am I the 'enchested' one? I'm a fucking ex-sex addict, people pleasing, anxiety having human who was just going to a club own day with their friends, met some hot guy, and ended up as hell's next victim?! Yeah again, sound like some bullshit to me.
"Lastly," he glanced behind himself to the six people behind him, "These guys are actually pretty fucking nice compared to some of the people I met so why the fuck is that? I thought they kings of hell are supposed to be ruthless brutal monsters, not heart-stabbing, betraying, handsome guys who tricked me to be here and still want to play the good guys."
Felix finally inhaled before looking at Chan who smiled brightly. The guys behind them were looking away. Felix couldn't tell if it was from guilt or amusement but it was annoying to say the least. The strongest one flicked his hand towards the people and they all screamed in agony. The room became dark again and heated. Felix's eyes widened again, still not used to the fear catching sight. The souls seemed worse than before, like a part of them was being continuously ripped out. The darkness turned into chains and blood and fire. It really seemed like the pit of hell. It hurt Felix's heart to see so many hurting people because of him.
Chan laughed and stepped forward, his red eyes radiating off of his skin as he gently placed his hand on the bottom of Felix's chin, "You aren't screaming in agony. You're able to break away from our sins and you make things better for yourself. You are not pure physically or mentally, but your soul is pure, with good intentions."
The blonde opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out at the redhead ruffled his hand and caressed his face, "The prophecy is real because it was made by our ancestor, Lucifer himself. How could he lie to his ancestors when he is nothing but ash? And for your last question, you haven't seen them at all, Darling. They may be light, playful, caring, and funny towards you, but these people are suffering from them. From us. It is not the sins fault, but their own. It is simply reinforcing the rules."
The blonde pushed this hand away before staring at the people in sorrow, "The rules are stupid. They should get a secon-"
"They've had many choices in their previous lives. Everyone had more than 3 times to redeem themselves. These are the one who chose the counter," he explained before gently twitching his hand to the back of the stage. The blood red curtains tore apart into fiery hot ashes, revealing many more agonized souls that seemed to be in more pain than the first group, "These people deserve hell. Pedophiles, sex offenders, cultists, racists, extremely (extreme) feminists, toxic people, and over all horrible people. Now think about that, Darling."
His eyes met with the red ones in fear, "But don't worry. This is their break time. Their suffering isn't this loud when they are in their assigned destinations. It goes deeper than physical pain..." He grinned wickedly before flicking his wrist and making it all back to normal. His smile curved slowly down to a blank expression, before speaking.
"That's only the first layer of hell after all."
