(Can you believe your eyes? An update from little old me? I know I know, it's insane. So enjoy)
Somewhere in a far off realm:
"Ezikaiah. Why have you summoned me?" A voice called out. A woman, eyes as gentle as a spring breeze and beautiful, angelic blonde hair tied into a neat bun on her head, emerged from the dust on the marble floor. Her face showed curiosity, while her hands were folded gently in front of her glittering white garment. Her skin was a pale color, yet not sickly-so. She was an ethereal youth.
A man, who nose had been buried in a book turned to face her, "Father tells me something is wrong."
The woman's eyes widened and her gentle and calm demeanor shattered into pure fear. On the contrary, the man kept his composure, his hand flipping the page of the book.
"He tells me I am not yet ready to know, but I had a intuitive believe that you were apart of the issue."
"Ezikaiah," she began, her voice desperate and pleading, "You... You should know that it wasn't my choice."
His movements ceased, his slender fingers lifting from the page.
"What wasn't your choice?"
The woman went silent.
Ezikaiah's body shifted in her direction, a cold hard glare on his face. His lip were pressed into a thin, disapproving line. His eyes, that were such a light blue they looked almost white, fell away from her.
"Annabeth," he snapped out harshly, "You have been here in the realm with luxuries of a live time and you couldn't even keep your grubby hands off of the demon realm could you-"
"It's not the demon realm," she whispered. She fell to her knees, her head pressed to the floor, her hands presented in front of her, like a dutiful servant, "Our lineage. In the Hall, a light flicked. It was the light. Our light! I couldn't just miss the opportunity-"
"Annabeth."
He stomped closer, yet his face remained eerily calm. Ezikaiah's heel stepped onto her fingers, the pressure hard and cruel, the sound of crackling bones filling the enchanted room. The woman's lips parted, a gasping sound of agony leaving her throat. Her face contorted in pain.
"You understand what year it is? The year of Hell's thirteen hundred trillionth anniversary." His foot moved away from her hand, kicking the woman across the room, "THE PROPHESY IS ON TRIAL TO BE FUFILLED."
Annabeth yelped out, her bleeding hand clutching her side as she scrambled to her knees once more, "Ezikaiah, I assure you, the prophesy willn't happen-"
"You assure me nothing, woman," he remarked sharply, his white eyes fixing on her. He stared at her for a moment, the aching silence filling the hall.
Ezikaiah took in a good breath, fixing his clothes and extending a hand to the woman. Dust of light escaped his fingertip, floating to the woman and attaching to her wounds. The wounds zipped shut with an otherworldly light. The man approached her again.
"I apologize for my... misdemeanor," he whispered out to her, before crouching down beside her. His finger tips brushed away a strand of her ashy blonde hair from her face, "You know I love you, right?"
"...of course," she replied, grabbing his hand gently, a smile on her lips, "We will fix this. I'm going to fix this. The prophecy will not become true. I will stop it-"
Ezikaiah grinned gently, yet it didn't quite reach his eyes. More small particles left his hand, attaching to her face, making her gasp in relief.
"...You have done enough," he breathed out, leaning close. His hand pressed against her face, his thumb pressing against her bottom lip.
Those words left his lips as comforting, get when the reached her, a venom of betrayal filled her mind. The smile upon her lips died, her grip on his hand tightened and her other one clutched on his shirt.
"Ezikaiah- no-no- Please!" She muttered out, his chest clenching as her pulled him closer, "I love you, please don't-"
The curve on his face didn't falter, his other hand cupping her cheek as well, the glow of the powerful dust melted into her skin. Her pleas and sobs didn't waiver as she begged for forgiveness, yet he didn't seem willing to give it.
Her body quaked before she turned into ash, disintegrating before him, like she was nothing, until only a floating orb was left. The man stood up, his hand grabbing the small sphere and admiring it.
"A shame. She was my favorite. Father will be disappointed."
He turned, his long legs carrying him to a room, resembling a sort of library. His face morphed into a cold calculation as he stepped in, his boots clicking on the floor in the silent room. A man was at a desk where Ezikaiah was approaching, as if a kind of secretary.
He had glasses poised on his nose and a darker complexion. He was handsome, with beauty marks and freckles all over his face and raging ginger hair on his head, along with a crown of flowers. The man was tied up, in a fixture of elegance.
"Ezikaiah, this is the 3,792nd time you've been here in the last 200 years. How many of Father's children will you kill?" The man spoke, his lips moving swiftly.
"Killing is such an elusive term. Her soul resides here," He extended her hand, flashing the man the orb in his hand, "Ishmael, please don't delude your mind with false human morals."
Ishmael graciously plucked the ball from his hands, staring at it, "Annabeth deserved better than you."
"Annabeth betrayed our entire race."
"From a simple mistake?" The man stood up, revealing his long luscious legs, "Father will not be happy with your lack of understanding-"
"Father will not find out," Ezikaiah interjected, "I have one job of this realm, and it is to keep order. Annabeth disrupted the order, she received her punishment."
Ishmael frowned deeply before setting the ball in a jar, which transforms into one of dove-liek beauty. His hands placed the luxurious jar upon the shelf, adding to the collection of souls. The man studied the encasing, an exhale escaping his lips.
"Lee Felix."
Ezikaiah's white eyes fixed on Ishmael, "Felix?"
"That was the human you were once looking for."
Ezikaiah stepped closer, his steps loud and demanding, "Whatever do you mean was?"
The secretary faced Ezikaiah, his hands folding behind him as his back straightened.
"The prophecy is almost fully fulfilled."
