Araelia was pround of herself. She managed to trick Little Finger into thinking shes trusts him, there was almost no better feeling.
"What other information have you gathered?" She intended on getting as much information as she could out of him.
"Well" Little Finger leaned in "Stannis is planning a siege on Kings Landing"
"Oh" Araelia sat back, pretending like the information didn't make her feel uneasy "Do you think he will succeed?"
"It depends" He always gave short and questionable answers, Araelia hated it...though she supposed she did it more times than not "The battle could go either way...and if the city shall fall to stannis..."
"Then Margaery cant be queen" Araelia finshed for him. how could she prevent this from happening? after everything that has happened, she cant let her sister down again "What actions is Kings Landing taking against this?"
"I wouldn't know, im not apart of the war counsel"
She eyed him "I thought we were partners?"
"Whoever said we weren't?" Little Finger quipped.
"Ha, funny" She didn't find it humorous at all "Tell me the truth Baelish"
"I see youve lost your courtesy quick enough, my Lady" Little Finger smiled "clearly you haven't come to play"
"Thats where your wrong, Lord Baelish" she leaned forward and Little Finger tilted his head slightly in interest "i have come to play, and what you dont understand is...i intend on winning"
Little Fingers eyes narrowed, his nice partner act wiped clean off his face "I see"
"Do you?" Araelia raised her eyebrows.
"im assuming you want to help defeat Stannis?"
"You assume correct. i will stop at nothing to make sure my family succeeds" Araelia set her tea cup down and stood.
Little Finger watched her as she walked across the short length of the table to stop right in-front of him, picking up a small sweet and bringing it to her mouth "You'd be good to remember that, Lord Baelish"
He almost looked...intimidated, but he hid it well "As you say, my Lady"
Araelias eyes followed him as he scooted his chair back and stood "Will you help me?" Araelia had to make sure he was deep in her trap.
"Yes" He nodded.
"Good, i want you to swear you will never beray me" She said sternly. she knew he would do as he liked, but maybe she could force him into actually doing as she says.
"I swear it" Little Finger put his hands across his chest, a hint of a smirk on his face.
"I hope you are a man of your word Lord Baelish" Araelia turned and started on her way down the tiny step of the pavilion. When she was halfway down she stopped and turned "Theres a reason no one knows what Highgarden does with traitors"
Little Fingers hit of a smile turned into a hint of displeasure. Araelia turned back and smiled to herself. She had to admit it was really entertaining to mess with him "good evening Lord Baelish" She never turned back to him.
"Good evening" She could hear the forced tone in his voice.
Araelia walked the rest of the way through the garden. It was getting late now, but she had two more stops to make before she would return to her room.
