|Sansa|

┗━━━━━━━━━━┛

Araelia looked out over the city. It was just as unexciting as expected. She had never liked Kingslanding, it smelt terrible and everyone here was a liar. Thought she couldn't be such a hippocrite, she too was a liar. But atleast she did it for the right reasons...she hoped.

She wasnt like Little Finger, she wouldn't let herself be like him. She knew what he was; an actor. The acts he puts on almost fool her, they most certainly fool everyone else. Everything he does he does for himself, for his gain.

That's where they differ.

She saw how he went up to Sansa after Joffrey agreed to the marriage proposal, she saw the look in Sansa's face. Little Finger was sinking his talons into her, and Araelia wasn't going to let him sink them far enough.

She would help Sansa, and Arya. Not because it benefits her, not because it benefits her family, but because it benefits the Starks. She's doing this for Catelyn, for Robb, for Sansa, for Ayra...for Jon. She was doing this for the Starks. Not herself.

She had just written to her grandmother of their success, but that wasn't the reason she was looking out at the city in a window that just so happened to be outside Sansa's room. She need to talk to her, to figure out where her sister was, and to help them escape.

The door clicked open and Araelia spun around. It was a maid. She let out a little sigh, but she wouldn't let the opurtunity pass up.

"Excuse me" she called and the maid stilled, turning around to meet her gaze.

The maid clearly had on a fake smile, it made Araelia snicker.

"Yes, my lady?" The maid asked tilting her dark curly hair to the side, her foreign accent aparant.

"Are you Lady Sansa's handmaiden?" She wanted to make sure.

"Yes, I am"

"Perfect" a smile pulled at her lips "my name is Araelia" she walked closer to the woman "and you are?"

"Shae..." the woman looked suspicious, a good sign she hoped.

"Shae" Araelia repeated "Lovely name, sounds foreign" she eluded to the accent.

"Yes" Shae looked less than amused "it is"

Shae was definitely a character, strong willed from the look of her, brave too. Araelia found she was starting to take a liking to her...she just hoped Shae would be the character she needed "you know, most handmaidens wouldn't speak to a noble—such as myself—so freely but...your not like most handmaidens I take?"

Shae eyes her, her demeanor changing, "what are you doing here?"

"I simply wanted to talk with the Lady Sansa" Araelia tells her the truth.

Suddenly Shae has pinned her against the wall, her forearm pressing against Araelias neck "what do you want with Sansa? What do you know?"

Araelia laughs at the move, happily shocked at the sudden defense  "definitely not a normal maid"

Shae pushes harder "don't play with me"
