Kageyama was seen as a delinquent in school, people avoided him and he didn't have any friends. So when he ran into an orange haired kid it wasn't any different to how anyone else would've reacted, he was a small kid less than five foot five.

"Watch where you're going will you." He was towering over the boy staring down at him. "I'm sorry." The orange haired kid looked away scared. "I need to get to class, get out of the way." Not that he cared about actually going to class, he just needed the school to get off of his case.

The kid got out of the way going to sit down at a desk, right next to Kageyama's. Oh how this was going to be exhausting. He ignored the boy sitting down putting his head on the desk. They were the complete opposite Kageyama was an anti social person while the orange haired kid wanted to be everyone's friend.

He didn't try to talk to Kageyama though, just focusing on the lesson that the teacher was giving. Soon the class was over everyone had left, but Kageyama wasn't getting up, he didn't want to get up. What was the point of getting up?

He didn't have anyone that would hangout with him, everyone thought that he was a dangerous person, he couldn't do it anymore. After a little while of thinking self deprecating thoughts he finally got up to go sit in the back of the school.

It was the only way he found peace in the hellish place, but when he got to the back of the school he heard someone yelling for help. Peaking over the corner he saw orange hair, the social butterfly was in trouble how ironic.

He decided to intervene against his own will "Hey! Let him go!" He walked over to where the kid was grabbing his shoulder releasing him from the bully. He had a few bruises on his face but nothing major. "Why are you picking on him?" He was more upset than he thought he would be.

"Because people like him are goody to shoes." Kageyama was then punched in the face right in the nose causing it to bleed. "What the hell man!" That made Kageyama angry tackling the bully to the ground punching him repeatedly.

After the kid was freed he ran to get a teacher in the faculty room. "Someone help! There's a fight going on." The teacher followed the orange haired kid back to Kageyama. "That is enough! Both of you break it up right now!"

The two boys separated, both were in trouble even though Kageyama was technically using self defense. "This sucks." Kageyama was talking to himself as he was walking to the nurses office.

When he entered the room he saw the boy that he had saved sitting on one of the beds. "Oh, I didn't know you were in here." His voice was still cold but was still concerned for the boy who had probably never been in a fight before.

He was being quiet, something he had never seen from the boy just seeing how he acted around the campus. He was typically more enthusiastic and energetic. It was like the life was sucked out of him, Kageyama's heart hurt for the boy.

He then started crying, Kageyama didn't know what to do. His nose was still bleeding but he didn't want to leave the boy alone. So he decided to just shove some tissue up his nose and walked over to the bed where he was sitting.

He sat down on the bed next to him, gently putting his hand on his back rubbing it in circles. "It's ok kid. I know it was scary but you're safe now." Kageyama wasn't really sure what he was doing but it felt right.

"Are you injured anywhere?" He looked at the crying boy, seeing that the bruises were darker than they were before. "Hold on I'm going to grab some ointment to help with the pain." Kageyama still wasn't sure why he was helping him, but all that mattered was he was safe and out of harms way.

He grabbed the ointment putting it on where he was bruised, continuing to console him. "You're not gonna ask why I was back there?" The boy said in between cries. "That's non of my business really. All that matters is you're no longer in that situation." The boy looked at him, eyes still tear filled and gave him a hug.
