After the kid had calmed down Kageyama let go of him, standing up to tend to his still bleeding nose. "Sit down, let me do it." Maybe that was a good idea, he was starting to feel lightheaded from the blood loss.

The kid took the tissue out of his nose pinching the bridge of it, hopefully making it stop bleeding. "What's your name?" Kageyama suddenly asked surprising the boy. "Shoyo Hinata." Kageyama didn't know what he was going to do with that information but found it useful.

"Why are you helping me?" He was going in and out of consciousness. "Because you helped me first. If you didn't show up I would be in a lot more trouble." Kageyama had passed out at this point his head hanging down, Shoyo laid him down on his side so he wouldn't choke on his blood.

He left the room so he could get some sleep. Kageyama woke up around 2 hours later alone in the room, and blood stained on his face. He sat up, getting this feeling of loneliness something he's felt before but this was different. Why did the kid leave?

He stood up ignoring his thought and washed his face, leaving the room. He walked around the almost empty campus going to the back of the school again to retrieve his stuff. Once he got it he left for the day.

The next few days were all the same, it was like that incident never even happened. Shoyo went back to being his energetic self and Kageyama his self-loathing self. They still sat next to each other in class but never interacted, until Shoyo passed Kageyama a note.

He accepted the note confused, opening it to see it read "Thank you for the other day, I don't know what would have happened if you didn't show up." He looked at Shoyo, why was he thanking him days later? Was he that scared of me?

He wrote a reply on the same paper "It was nothing." A short reply but it wasn't cold like he had previously been. Shoyo got the note back reading what was written on it, giving it another reply. "Do you want to eat lunch together today?" The teacher caught onto what they were doing.

"No passing notes in class you two." Everyone turned to the back of the class looking at the two boys. They both got embarrassed Shoyo just saying "Sorry sir, it won't happen again." The teacher continued his lesson. Kageyama looked at Shoyo and nodded his head agreeing to have lunch together.

This was the first time since elementary school that he would be in the company of another person during lunch. He was kind of excited to not be alone anymore, he had a little smile on his face that was barely noticeable.

That class had ended and it was finally lunch, Kageyama walked up to Shoyo talking to his friend. "I'm having lunch with someone else today, sorry." He was talking to someone with brown hair that was around the same height.

"Shoyo are you ready to go?" Kageyama asked Shoyo, glaring at the other boy. Even though the brown-haired kid was older than Kageyama he was still scared. "Umm, I'll see you around Shoyo." He quickly ran off wanting to avoid Kageyama.

Shoyo started laughing, it was a funny sight seeing his friend get scared. "Yeah, I'm ready to go, where are we going to eat?" Seeing Shoyo laugh was refreshing after the last interaction they had. "Can we go to the back of the school to eat?" He truly did enjoy it back there being away from people and it was pretty with a cherry blossom tree.

"That works for me! Let's go." Shoyo grabbed Kageyama's hand surprising the taller boy, but didn't mind that he grabbed his hand. Once they arrived at the back of the school Shoyo was able to take in the beauty of it all. "I can see why you like it back here." They sat down in Kageyama's usual spot, right in front of the tree.
