"Does this mean you'll stop being so cold to me?" Kageyama looked at Shoyo with a look his never given anyone else and said. "You given my heart enough warmth that it's getting hard to feel the cold." Shoyo looked up at Kageyama and smiled. "I always knew you were a good person Kageyama! You just had to meet the right person to bring it out of you."
Shoyo gave Kageyama a big hug, a hug so tight and filled with the warmth that they both were yearning for. "Let's go to my house Shrimpy." Kageyama grabbed Shoyo's hand and started walking towards his house. "Oh! We're starting nickname's now?! What should I call you?" He was skip walking while holding Kageyama's hand.
He thought long and hard about what to call him. "Hmm, how about my knight in shining armor. Since you know, you saved me and all." Kageyama had a blush on his face. "That sounds nice actually." He let go of Shoyo's hand, speeding up his pace.
"What was that? I couldn't hear you." Shoyo was laughing at him being all cute. They eventually got to Kageyama's house, he opened the door to his mother in the living room. "Oh honey your home! And you have a friend, what's your name?" They were both taking off their shoes when Shoyo answered Kageyama's mom.
"My name is Shoyo Hinata." He was acting shy, he's never met someone else's parents before. "Mom please leave him alone, we have to go study." Kageyama could tell Shoyo was uncomfortable so he grabbed his hand and they went to his room.
"Sorry about that! I never bring people over so she was just excited." Kageyama was nervous, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's ok! It wasn't too bad." He had the bright smile on his face again. "Ok let's get to studying." They sat down and pulled out their books.
They had been studying for 2 hours at this point and they were both getting bored. "Hey let's take a break." Kageyama was the first to break the silence. "What do you wanna do?" Shoyo was practically falling asleep at this point.
Kageyama got up and sat on his bed. "Come here." He patted the open seat next to him. Yawning Shoyo stood up and went to sit down next to him. "What are you going to do?" Shoyo was a little confused on what he wanted but stayed put. "This" he put his head on Shoyo's shoulder.
Shoyo put one of his hands on Kageyama's face, rubbing his thumb on his cheek. "Who knew you could be so cute." Kageyama took Shoyo's other hand in his and started tracing his fingers on his palm. "Only you." They looked at each other with soft eyes and kissed.
It wasn't anything heated but a kiss filled with love and affection. They went back to the position they were in before and stayed like that talking, until Kageyama's mom knocked on the door. "I'm coming in." They quickly went back to "studying." His mom opened the door and said.
"Dinner's done, your friend can have some if he wants." She had a smile on her face, Shoyo was kind of reminded of his own mom. "We will be down in a minute mom, we're just finishing some stuff up." She gave Kageyama a nod and closed the door.
"You don't have to stay if you don't want to Shoyo." Kageyama didn't want Shoyo to feel uncomfortable with his mother, he knew she could be a little overbearing at times. "No it's ok! I would love to get to know your mom!" He gave Kageyama a kiss and walked out the door.
This was going to be a nightmare.
