Weeks later.....

Shantay and Roderick have been keeping their secret from everyone.

Jose found out that Stacii's baby is his. Her name is Joseline and so far their co-parenting has had some ups and downs. Tamara just tries to stay outta the way but she gets along with his daughter. Every time she comes over, Tam cooks something big.

Vanessa hasn't talked or seen Steven in weeks. She's been focused on herself and everything she has to do to get ready for the baby. She still talks to Eric every so often but she's been distancing herself to avoid drama.

Steven has been doing his own thing. He hasn't spoken to Vanessa or Lisa. But he still has his strays.

Jordan and Kim are doing good. No real issues so far. Regina hasn't bothered them and they've been having the time of their lives.

Everyone is at school is a half day. The students have their semester exams....

Shantay: Hey Kim. You ready for these exams?

Kim: Honestly I'm just ready to get it over with. I hate stressing over tests. They make my ulcers flare-up.

Shantay: Girl you crazy. (Laughing)

Kim: Haha, but I was serious though.

Vanessa: Hey y'all. (Walking towards the girls)

Kim: Hey girl.

Shantay: (Looking at her stomach) Whew! It looks like you're about to pop.

Vanessa: I know. Tell me about it. I feel like every time I put something in my mouth I gain a pound.

Kim: It doesn't look that bad. But you are showing. Time for maternity clothes now.

Vanessa: Yeah nothing fits me anymore. I thought about wearing one of Steven's shirts but I didn't wanna give him the wrong impression. (Sadness in her voice)

Kim: You still haven't talked to him?

Vanessa: Girl, I haven't even seen him. It's like he disappeared since he got into it with Eric. It's really over between me and him....I can't believe it.

Shantay: Me either. And I swear that is coming from a good place. I know how much you love him and this is the longest you two have ever been apart.

Vanessa: Yeah. (Starts to tear up. Shantay and Kim hugs her) Imma be alright yall. I have to stay strong, at least for the baby. She's the only thing left of him I have. I just hope that he's ok, that's all.

Kim: I believe he is. His pride is probably just hurt. He'll come around by the time the baby is here.

Vanessa: But what if he doesn't? Then I end up raising this child on my own??? I was hoping I would at least have him involved in the pregnancy but he's not showing any initiatives that he wants to be apart of her life. Just because you lost a fight, you're too embarrassed to come around when I need you when it pertains to the baby. He should be embarrassed that he cheated on me and is fenna have a baby by both of us damn near at the same time! (Sniffles) I'm sorry. I'm just so mad. How can he do this to me...to us??

Shantay: Just know you got us. We might not be in the same city or state after school is over, but we're your friends and we gonna do our best to help you while we're here.

Tamara and Jose pulls up....
