They were grotesque beings, their forms shifting and writhing as if made of pure darkness. Maria summoned her powers, her hands glowing with an ethereal light. With a flick of her wrist, vines erupted from the ground, ensnaring the creatures and pulling them into the earth.
But the battle was far from over. More creatures emerged from the shadows, their numbers growing with each passing moment. Maria fought with all her might, her movements a dance of power and grace. She summoned the elements to her aid, calling forth storms to wash away the darkness and fire to purify the land.
