Rylee beamed, "Perfect! I have no business that day. I'll see you then!"
"Great!" Ruby said with a small smile. As she turns around, her small smile turned into a large grin.
Granny and Leroy snort at the stupid smile she has.

"Does this outfit look good on me, Grams? Is she going to like it? She's really rich, so she probably has high standards. Should I have gone with something more classy?" Ruby asks, all in one breath.
"We're in a Diner." Grams said. "What do you need classy for?"
Leroy, who's at a nearby table, snorts.
Before Ruby could say anything else, the bell rings. Altering them to a customer.
Ruby quickly looks over and sees Rylee entering.
"Oh, wow." Ruby says once she notices Rylee's outfit. So far, she has seen the other women in nothing but fancy business attire but now...
"I didn't know she could pull off casual wear." Ruby thought before she hurried over. "Rylee!"
Rylee, finally having noticed her, smiled. "Hey, Ruby!"
"Let's sit over here and just talk for a bit." Ruby said, leading Rylee to a table.
Rylee looks over at the table in surprise when she notices two cups of hot chocolate on it, one made just the way she likes it.
"Thanks, Ruby. You didn't have to." Rylee said as she sat down.
Ruby chuckles. "Of course I did, I want you to be comfortable. The donuts are cooling down right now."
Rylee couldn't help but smile at how sweet she was being.
"So, I've never really left our little town. What's Boston like?" Ruby asked, trying to get a conversation going.
"It's a great city. I should take you there one day, there's so much to do." Rylee says with a smile.
"And your life there? What's that like?" She questions, making Rylee chuckle. "You seem awfully curious about me." She teases, making Ruby blush.
"No- I-" Ruby tries to backtrack, worried she made the other girl uncomfortable.
Rylee laughs, "It's okay. I'm joking. My life in Boston was pretty good. I own a business and a lot of my attention goes to that."
"No friends?" Ruby inquires and hopes she's being subtle.
Rylee grins, knowing exactly what she's doing. "I have a few friends but my closest is Lilith, or Lily, as she prefers. She's basically my sister."
"That's it?" Ruby says, hoping that the girl she was interested in wasn't dating someone.
"Yeah, that's it." Rylee says before adding, "I'm single. Have been for a while." She answers the girl's unasked question.
"Really?" Ruby said, in disbelief.
"You sound surprised." Rylee notes.
"I mean, yeah. I can't believe it. People should be falling at your feet. You're absolutely gorgeous." Ruby blurts out before pausing as she realizes what she said. "I-uh. Forget I said that." She quickly said. "You know, I need to go check on those donuts, I'll be back."
Before Rylee could say anything, Ruby stood up and left.
