It's a breezy 7:30PM. The warm air has given way to the errant breezes, as even a hot state like Florida cools down. Most find themselves at home with a cold drink. And yet, Delilah finds herself around warm lights with a warm cappuccino catching up on a good book. Her nose is deep into one of her favorite murder mystery series': Ms.Minn's Marvelous Missions. It's the 3rd in a series entitled "The Scarlet Squid", about a cruise ship expedition gone horrendously awry, and a taxidermized mollusk missing from an onboard exhibit. With her coffee in one hand and her book in the other, the soft jazz filling the room completes a relaxing evening vibe that Delilah has been desperate to grab onto.

It's been quite some time since she's had it, as she's been the subject of quite the numerous escapades. With the past adventure at Havfuryym Hall being the capstone. Fortunately, her job pays her rather nicely, and as such is able to set aside an evening for herself. And yet, almost on cue, there seems to be something interrupting it. A squad of young men have been using the pool table for quite some time. And one by one, they check out Delilah sitting in the hazel leather chair. One of them soon strides over to ask her a few pointed questions.

Guy #1: S'cuse me, ma'am. He asks saucily as Delilah ignores him while taking another sip.

Guy #1: My friends and I have been playing pool all night, and we'd love some fresh new blood at the table.

Delilah, in immediacy: No thanks, I'm reading.

After the guy expresses befuddlement all over his face, he soon tries his hand again, getting slightly closer.

Guy #1: Oh come on, a woman of your stature and figure would look wonderful alongside us, its so early in the evening, no?

Delilah: Again, no thank you. I am reading. Goodbye.

The guy turns slightly annoyed, and then pays attention at the cover of her book. To which, he is surprisingly familiar with. As such, to expedite the process of retrieving Delilah, he reminds her of some key details in the book.

Guy #1: You know it was the chef that did it, right?

Delilah: Excuse me?

Guy #1: Matthew Gluteus. He stole the original squid from the exhibit and replaced it with a freeze dried one dyed in sweet and sour sauce. All to get back at the critic who originally tore his restaurant in Belgium to bits after a bad review, to which he was going to serve the original one to him laced with poison before Ms.Minn stole it back?

Delilah takes a long breath through her book before closing her book with one hand, the SNAP from the pages slamming echoing between the two. Leering almost right over at this point, the compatriot finally introduces himself.

Guy #1: You can call me Michael by the way. Those two knuckleheads behind me are Jackie & Richie. Now that you don't have to read the rest of that thing, come play with us.

Delilah wants to chuck the book square at his temple. Disrespecting the bar, her personal space, and her book time gave her a near complete warrant. However, instead of going all in just yet, she decides to go in a slower route. To really show this windbag why being so braggadocios was going to be their downfall.

Delilah: Oh, well um, you see, I don't play much pool, but I'd be game for it! She gave with so much air in her head she could hit a satellite.

Michael: That's no problem, sweetie! We usually play with money on the table, but for a lady like yourself, we'll go clean this time around.

Delilah: Oh, you don't have to do that! I wanna feel like one of the guys! Why would someone like me be sitting her anyway?
