The sun beams through the window as the morning is set. Our trio had quite the time recounting their days last night. Yet not Onyx, as she served as the sole audience member. At a crisp 11 AM, we got her whipping up a storm in the kitchen as Delilah sits on the couch with an espresso and a good book. Usually she's the one making something, but the surprise guest of the evening insisted into making quite the spread. As such, she has resigned to relax before hand, with Lucina right next to her in the middle of a match. Even if this is Delilah's house, she still has a set up to play video games whenever she has friends over. And by friends, it's really just Lucina and Caspion that have a go at it. As such, the serenity of the scene is cut short as Lucina returns from her recon to Caspion's room with news in tow.
Lucina: Yo! The bat boy is comin' down soon for grub. Speaking of which, how much longer Onyx?
Onyx: Almost done, just about to finish the last touches. Take a seat, it'll be right out.
Delilah: You for real didn't need any help? I didn't mind the chill time but still, you're my guest!
Onyx: And yet, here we are. Now come sit down!
As they both arrive at the table, Caspion makes his appearance known to everyone as well, beaming with energy from last nights wonderful dream. Delilah doesn't find this uncommon, but it's a nice energy to bring into the day nonetheless, so she doesn't mind all too much.
Caspion: Good morning everyone! Who's ready to have a superb day today?
Onyx: Looks like you are! Sounds like you slept well!
Caspion: Ah, a little sore but I had a late night last night, so it's no biggie.
Delilah: After what happened to you I don't blame you. That means your body needed the shuteye.
Lucina: Yeah, yeah, you slept like a baby. Can we get to the food already because I am FAMISHED!
Onyx: Well, if you are after this, then I did a bad job!
Onyx sets the last of the food down. What's on the table is quite the mighty charcuterie. A massive frittata, topped with feta & dill. A hearty & warm bread loaf sliced for sandwiches. An assortment of jams and creams. Some sliced smoked salmon flavored with peppercorn and thyme. Various sliced cheeses and seared sausages as well. Massive pitchers of water, iced tea, and orange juice were dotted along the table for refreshments to cap it off. And as a sweet element, some fresh fruit and marble loaf cake as well. This would be a lot for an entire holiday's worth of people, much less just the four of them. As Delilah peers through the intimadating setup, both Lucina and Caspion are gazing at it in absolute reverence. Onyx as such, is carrying a smirk of victory across her face, proud of the fact that she can return the favor of last night's food with such effectiveness.
Lucina: HOT DAMN! This looks amazing!
Caspion: Thank you sosososoSO much Onyx! This must've taken so long!
Delilah: Yeah..thank you! But uh, when did you have the time to do all of this?
Onyx: Well, after waking up at 5-
The other three: IN THE MORNING?!?
Onyx: I did a quick workout at my gym, then headed over to the store to grab what I needed. From there, the rest is me listening to classical music as I cooked breakfast.
Delilah: Well, thanks again. We are definitely gonna be set for the rest of the day for leftovers.
Onyx: Oh, if it comes to that, then yes.
