A click, and the pod's door swung open.

The little worker girl tumbled inside, desperately scrambling to her feet in order to yank her two comatose comrades through, taking care to ease them onto the ground as gently as possible. They weighed far more than her, and Uzi's hydraulics strained to keep them from falling, digital sweat droplets raining down her visor. Goddamn they were heavier than she thought!

Upon managing to lay them down on the cold pod floor, Uzi took a moment to place her hands on her knees and catch her breath, despite her being a robot and not actually needing a steady flow of oxygen to survive. Once done with this unneeded process, she tugged on the two incapacitated drones and pulled them into a corner, nestling the two of them next to each other to hopefully help keep them warm. Uzi tried to not look at the trail of oil that followed N's bisected form wherever he went, knowing that she would be probably thrust into another mental breakdown if she did.

"Okay, you're here now. You're safe. I got you. Now what the hell's wrong with you two!?" Uzi asked them, obviously not expecting any kind of response. Her instinctual programming kicked in, as the baseline for worker drones is to be able to repair and build machinery. As such, purple optics scanned over N and V's bodies, looking to spy any sort of clue as to what had infected her newfound family. Any virus chips or some other kind of visible foreign device would help! But despite her best efforts, Uzi couldn't find anything that could possibly hint to what was wrong with them. It certainly wasn't a disassembly drone virus chip, or she would've seen something by now. The lack of any progress was starting to take its toll on Uzi, and she grabbed onto her lilac hair and pulled it tightly in a way that looked painful.

"Robo-god! I can't find anything! What's going on with you guys!? What should I do? I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!" Uzi shouted to herself, already beginning to strain her vents with how often she was panting, to the point of hyperventilation. She couldn't bear to even consider the possibility of N being dead or dying due to her being unable to diagnose the issue. Yet, it was looking more likely to be the case.

Just before Uzi could collapse into tears or lose it entirely, she felt something.. odd. It was an itching sensation, one that originated from the purple locks that constituted the hair she kept under her beanie. At first, Uzi thought that it was her synthetic nervous system simply acting up as it sometimes did, but this feeling was different. The itching was calculated, rhythmic, like something trying to free itself from underneath her beanie. It seemed that her violent tugging of her hair may have just woke something up. Reaching a hand up, Uzi lifted the beanie upward slightly, which was more than enough for the miniscule creature to push its way out and begin scuttling down the side of her face.

Terror turned to confusion as she observed the tiny robotic creature make its way down to her shoulder, its many small legs keeping a sturdy grip on the collar of her jacket while the golden insect turned to her, waving a claw in her direction, clearly supposed to be some kind of greeting gesture. It was the Key Bug, that small robo-cockroach that Uzi picked up during her visit to Camp 98.7. She hadn't even realized that it was still around, let alone hibernating in her hair of all places!

"Hey! It's you!" Uzi said, realization kicking in as she gazed upon the Key Bug, the latter responding by conducting a small dance, bouncing in circles while waving its green glowing antennae wildly. A blue light on the back of the cockroach suddenly lit up, a digital text box flickering into existence in short order.

- Hi :3

"Wait, how long have you been in my hair!?" Uzi demanded the Key Bug.

- Calculating, please stand by...

- 3 weeks, 5 days, 6 hours, 25 minutes, 34.5 seconds

"The hell!? You've been lurking in my hair since camp!? How did I not notice!? Wait, no! There are more important things to worry about right now!" The Key Bug followed Uzi's panicked gaze, looking upon its carrier's two companions, incapacitated and unresponsive.
