Mortified purple optics hollowed out into rings met a smug yellow pair filled with pixels that radiated determination and malice. Uzi's panicked gaze kept switching between the murder drone that had so suddenly burst into her home and the two drones on the floor, still unresponsive and heavily damaged. If G was here, Uzi figured that the others probably wouldn't be too far. In this pod, she didn't have a lot of room to move and fight, so the cards were really stacked against her.
"Well well well, what do we got here?" G asked as his gaze drifted to the unconscious N and V, "It seems I've caught y'all at a bad time. Shit happens I guess!" Uzi gritted her teeth and activated her Solver upon G taking a step towards her, Uzi stepping back while the familiar symbol manifested over her right palm, waiting and primed.
"Hey now little homie! Don't be scared!" Uzi could pick up the malicious sarcasm in G's tone which made her want to punch him even more, "I didn't pull up to hurt you, just your homies! Boss man still needs you for information after all!" The purple worker could only assume he meant M by 'boss man', and she sure as HELL wasn't going with him, or giving up her friends just cause they weren't leading lives of pointless murder anymore. Despite not being anywhere near ready, Uzi was willing to fight G to her last breath.
"You are living in dreamland if you think I'm going anywhere with you! I'm not as easy to subdue as you think!" To this, G let out a loud cackle, one which made Uzi's frustration only grow further. G clearly wasn't taking her very seriously, and she would be lying if she said it wasn't getting on her nerves a teeny tiny bit. Eventually, the disassembly drone composed himself and refocused on his target, tail swishing behind him in amusement as he took in a breath.
"Oh, I know you ain't no pushover sweetie. I saw you creepin' on A and reduce her to cheddar! And I also get that the other two you got there ain't new to the streets either," Uzi was rendered confused by G's word choice but wisely didn't seek clarification, "Then again, I also ain't the ones who got nearly clapped either. Must've been pretty sad to see them get slapped in the face with a reality check, ey?" The grin G shot her way glowed in a radiant fashion due to the lights of the pod above, and Uzi only grew more pissed by this guy kicking dirt onto her friends. N and V were some of the most capable drones Uzi knew, and the former only ended up the way he was now because of fucking Y landing a lucky shot. A missed shot or delay in firing, and M would have been history.
"Don't you fucking talk about them like that! They won't be down for much longer, and when they wake up, you and the rest of your friends will be sent back to where you came from! The junkyard!" Uzi's claim wasn't entirely unfounded, to be fair. They had all come from a junk pile in the far past, after all. If G was offended by this, he didn't let it show, and instead kept his smug poker face and continued on with the 'conversation' undeterred.
"Oh really? Well, they goin' be clashin' with boss man, and he be the alpha now baby!" G's optics morphed themselves into a pair of digital sunglasses, "If them two step outta line, you bet the whole hoods gonna be on their asses till they submit or get smoked!" Despite his somewhat asinine way of communicating, Uzi got the message well enough, and she felt her own core speed up to try and cope with her rapidly rising anger. Alpha!? Alpha of what!? The alpha of fighting dirty!?
"That fucker you call an alpha hasn't done shit to earn that title! W-why are you all even here anyway? Just go back to your own freaking territories or whatever!" At Uzi's sudden question, G manifested a single neon yellow eyebrow on his visor which he promptly raised.
"You haven't figured it out yet? Girl, we was runnin' out of food elsewhere! We ate the rest of the workers in our own territories and had to start packin' and movin' in order to get by. Soon, we hooked up with M and P's crews, and after a bit of a.. rocky introduction, M eventually made all 9 of us form a gang and head to the last known territory to smoke any workers left." As G recounted his story, his CPU flashed the image of P's remains, his body broken and head reduced to an oily pulp. He and P had become really good friends after a while, and seeing his dead body really, really, really ticked him off. It reminded G that he wasn't here to explain to his enemies about why they were doing what they doing, but to kill them instead.
