It was dusk, my usual time to start training for the battle tomorrow. I got up, putted on my armor, grabbed my sword and shield and left my corridor. I walked down the long hall, going to the back where we usually train. I then took a sigh and opened the door. I was then greeted by utter silence by my crew.

"Oh, look! It's Larla, the outsider!" Someone said. Everyone then laughed at their joke. I was always made fun of for thinking different and how I am. I just rolled my eyes.

"Hahaha, hilarious. Where's captain? Isn't she supposed to be here?" I asked, looking around.

"I'm right here. Guys, what did I say about making fun of her? Just because she's different, doesn't mean she's not human! Give her a break." RiQuel said, lecturing them. She then turn her focus on me "You're a few minutes late, care to explain?"

"Sorry, I'm just tired, that's all. It's the battle and I have to train and it's just fucking hard." I answered tiredly.

"I hear you. But we all took a full 7-9 hours of sleep, are you okay?"

"Yeah, it's just that I feel like I need to go to bed for a year. I don't know, it's just feels wrong to sleep that short."

"Outsider!" The person who made fun of me earlier shouted. I glared at him. But I calmed myself down and went back to focusing on trying to stay awake

"Can we just head to training, please? I just wanna move on with this." I asked. I felt like a waking zombie, woken up from it's slumber.

"Sure. I was going to anyway. Everyone! Get back to training! No slacking, I want all of you to be fit and ready for the morning!!" She announced, everyone then went back to training. I just went and did. As much as I didn't want to, I have to. It's an oath that I took. I promise to never betray my team, never slack off and to always slay the beast
