It has been at least 8 hours since I started the training, it was now 9:30 AM. We told everyone to stay inside and stay out of sight from the dragons. Some of them refused and told us that they have rights, so I let them be. If they want to be eaten, they'll be eaten. RiQuel stayed by my side and gave me some new pointers if we had to fight them.I was so damn tired, I couldn't help but fall asleep for at least 30 minutes, but RiQuel tried to keep me up so, in her own words, 'we don't end up killed', and I don't blame her. The last thing I needed was to be dragon food. I wanted to get a cup of coffee, but I couldn't because we needed to rely on our energy, that we didn't need any helpers to help us fight better. That or the battle could start by the time I enter the castle and I'll let them down. I thought the first one was stupid, but the second one made more sense, so I just stayed outside, bespiting how tired I was. It was a couple minutes away from battle, and I was stressed as fuck; I tried to remain calm because apparently, they smell fear. What a stereotype.
"Alright, we only got a few minutes left before battle. So stand your ground, use your sword, arrows, and shields if necessary. And absolutely do not, I repeat, do not befriend, talk, communicate, be close to, or help them to the dragons none whatsoever! Got that," RiQuel announced. Everyone, including myself, agreed "And if anyone gets hurt, exterminated, or possibly gets eaten alive, aid them or honor them."
"Of course. The 'Aid the or honor them' crap. What's the point if we don't even know them?" I thought. But I brushed it off, and got myself mentally ready. Moments later, the sirens went off. The dragons were here, we grabbed everything and took our battle stand. I was praying to God in my mind, hoping that I wouldn't die and be eaten. RiQuel then told me that she wouldn't let me die out there and that we only had 6 hours.
"6 hours? Alright, sounds like your average Tuesday." I said. 6 hours of fighting man-eating beasts. We always have long hours of battle. 6 hours, 8 hours, even a whole day.
"Yeah, well at least it's short so we'll have some time to heal." She said. We then saw one of the dragons try to swoop in on us. I flinched while everyone else tried to fend back. That was a weak ass move, but it came back and struck again with a friend. This time, I attack. Everything was going good, before I knew it, I was in battle, saving a child from getting cornered.
