At night.. after spending enough time with the baby everyone went to have dinner and talking now after the dinner in the living room...

Maapila.. ayya.. Meenakshi's dad called Rudra, Devaraj and Shiva thatha...

( Son in law) ( Ayya means addressing an elder man)

I know.. this is maybe not even to one fourth of the money you spent on her delivery.. but please accept this.. I have this much only.. actually like Jayaram said, a girl's first delivery should be held in her mother's home.. but we don't have enough facilities there to accommodate you all and I don't want to take any risk at the Last moment... that's why I didn't asked for that.. we are happy that Meenakshi is getting everything here.. so please accept this and don't mistake me.. he said..

Aiyo.. Murugan.. this is not needed, as you said Meenakshi is daughter of our home.. so why you are straining yourself.. Shiva thatha said and extended the money bag.. 

Ayya.. please keep this and spent on Meenakshi or the baby.. that will make us happy.. Komathi said.. 

But how did you got this money? Did you borrowed again? Devaraj asked while looking at the two bundles of currency notes..

No no.. I didn't.. this was my savings for Jeevitha's marriage.. and you all said that you will take care of her marriage.. so I gave this to my elder daughter.. Murugan said..

He went inside with the cash and called the bank manager and asked him to open a seperate junior savings account in the name of Jayaram and sent the details.. he kept the cash inside and decided to transfer the amount for Jayaram's account from his account..

Soundarya asked them to stay till the punyavachanam.. the eleventh day function for the baby.. it's just basically a cleansing ritual for baby and mommy and new dresses will be given for them from her parents.. and on that day the naming ceremony of the baby will also be held.. so the preparations for everything were started and Soundarya took Murugan's family for the shopping and all.. they bought many dresses for new born and few jewels for Meenakshi and baby.. 

Rudra, as usual being an caring husband, took care of Meenakshi like she is a born baby.. she felt so happy from getting his care and affection.. each and everything he does makes her happy and she always stayed in a good mood.. 

Seeing how her in-laws treating her and taking care of her, komathi felt ashamed of herself.. she even talked with her husband about this one day.. Murugan sighed and said..

Past is past Komathi, we can't give her what we have snatched away from her.. we can't give her her childhood days, we can't pamper her.. everything is gone.. just atleast behave like as a mom hereafter.. even after doing everything to hurt her, that girl is having a smile, a true smile on her face while talking with you.. don't hurt her in future.. I'm also feel ashamed of myself that I didn't stopped you while hurting her.. I'm asking forgiveness to God each and every day.. for how we treated her.. for what we have done to her.. he said and went out.. Komathi sat on the bed with tears in her eyes.. 

It's the day of the ceremony.. a team of six boys came and decorated the living room with natural flowers and decorative lights.. and as the priest asked the maids arranged each and everything that is needed for the function in Devaraj's supervision.. at early morning, Soundarya came to Rudra's room after getting ready.. she knocked on the door and after few minutes a groggy Rudra came and opened the door..
