Chapter 9: Secret Keeper

I have no idea what the Galarian Moltres chapter would look like so we're just going to skip past that...]

Chloe's POV:

  After encountering Galarian Moltres, we decided to head back to Kanto.
  When I was flying back home on Goh's Flygon behind Serena, I couldn't help but still feel a little sad that she didn't like me back, although deep down it's fine and I'll be able to find someone else at some point.
  But when we got back, I realised there was homework that me and Goh had that would be due in soon and I had completely forgotten to do it before arriving here.
  So I waited until we landed and then ran over to him.
  "Goh!" I yelled.
  "What?" He questioned.
  "We have homework due in soon!" I said.
  "I barely go into school anymore, why should I have to do homework?" Goh asked.
  "It's like really important homework and all you have to do it write down some things and I'll hand it in for you!" I explained and then begged, "Please?"
  "Fine!" Goh groaned.
  We all entered my dad's laboratory and while Ash and Serena started chatting as they headed into the living room, me and Goh went upstairs.
  I grabbed my school bag which I had left lying in the hallway and then we entered and both sat down on the floor of his shared bedroom.
  "So, how are you at the moment?" I asked as I handed him the sheet of paper.
  "I'm good since I'm glad we got to encounter a Galarian Moltres, how about you?"
  "I'm good," I replied as I started to write on my sheet of the homework.
  The room went into silence as we started to do out homework but suddenly out of nowhere, I was asked a very difficult question.
  "Do you think their is something fishy about Ash and Serena's friendship?" He asked.
  "No!" I lied, "Why?"
  "I don't know, I just feel they're extremely close and I'm concerned they may end up dating..." Goh muttered.
  "And why would that be an issue if they did end up together?" I asked.
  "Well..." He mumbled, there was a minute of silence as he thought of what to say, and then continued, "I think I may have a crush on Ash..."
  "Wait really?!" I exclaimed.
  "Yeah!" The black haired boy replied.
  I then remembered how prior to this Serena told me she had a crush on Ash and I'm fairly sure that if someone tells you a secret, you're not supposed to share it.
  I don't know since I'm not used to people telling me private stuff, although I do know I should keep to my word otherwise Serena will think I was a snitch because she didn't reciprocate my feelings.
  "Do you think I have a chance with him?" He then asked, worry showing in his voice.
  "I'm sure you do!" I replied.
  Because of how uncomfortable this conversation was making me feel, I quickly changed the subject and luckily this topic didn't come back up for the rest of the homework session.
  Once we were both done, I said goodbye and then went back home. I was left wandering what would have happened if I told him the truth...
