Ian, Danny and JJ have been trying to get us to meet up. I can't not when I look like this.
Honestly, the idea of meeting up with everyone today is just horrible.
My social battery is completely drained. But alas, it is not like I have a choice. My absence would cause too many questions anyways. One of the many perks of keeping secrets.(JOKE). I hum along to the music blasting out of the car speaker but I keep getting interrupted with notifications.
I glance down at my phone and tap open the group chat:
UGLY HOES🤮 AND THEIR HOT JJ🥵😫😫
dicky💩💩:

JJ🥵🔥:

omw. stuck in traffic.
I click off the phone and turn my gaze back onto the traffic. I've been roaming around in my car since I left the school after the chemistry exam. I didn't even know we had an exam, so I absolutely flunked it.
I mean even if I did know, I would have flunked it either way. Why? Because these past few weeks I've been working my ass off. First taking my ass to school, wasting my time there and then going to the part time job I managed to get two weeks ago after Danny came back.
The Hog is your typical bar, with neon bright signs that light up at night trying to attract customers and partygoers. The sign outside looks pretty modest compared to the insides of the actual building. The main entryway has 4 ripped guards standing stock still in full black uniforms each one looking more burly than the other.
The setting is surprisingly fancy with modern white furniture, sleek barstools and tables. Funny enough this was one of the places that made a decent amount of money around here. Thats why I booked a meeting with the manager and asked him to employ me.
Problem is, he was too busy trying to look down my shirt while I was desperately waving my fake ID in his face.
So in between evening shifts, school, and JJ's business meetings there's barely anytime to sleep and live like a healthy human being.
Though, at least I get the privilege of drinking a shot of tequila each tuesday. (Tequila tuesdays) Its a shitty name, I know. But who cares anyways.
I wince when someone honks, and startles me from my thoughts.
When I near the house, I park farther down the road. The last time I parked in the driveway, JJ nearly removed all the paint from the right side of the car with her pickup truck.
