Its interesting how much a person would do for love.

They would pay atrocious amounts of money to at least feel a little glimpse of it. People would go to the ends of the earth to find it. Some would even commit a crime for it like... theft.

Or even murder....

A trail of bodies led the police to the manor.

A river of blood flowed from the grand entrance, painting the entire floor a deep scarlet

Some of the bullets that missed the targets entirely lay scattered on the floor, half buried in the blood of the victims.

Some of the targeted could not even be recognized because of the amount of bullets that tore through their features, leaving them completely distorted.

A bloodbath some might call it.

A tragedy if you will.

But either way, there had to be someone responsible for this mess of limbs on the floor.

The police gathered that at least.

Their only question was who would do this?

Because the only survivor and suspects wife lay injured inside of the blood covered manor. So did that make him more suspect or a victim?

Either way they didn't know because they couldn't find him.

Even after years of searching, the manor massacre became a huge question mark on the PD's files. A cold case, among the many.

The truth was still hiding in the blood of the victims.

Present

Watching my favorite reality TV show didn't normally involve my brothers sitting around me eyeing me with suspicion as to why I was watching that brain rot.

But alas, life has its road-bumps. Santi side-eyes me from behind his bowl of cheerios in chocolate milk as two people start kissing.

So to avoid any eyebrow raises, I skip ahead of that scene while smiling awkwardly at my brothers.

Santi, Lorenzo and Riano all sit on the sofa in the main hangout living room, half their attention on their phone screens and the TV.

They have been giving me weird looks since I started watching this thing and I'm starting to think that something funny is going on.

Minutes later Dante walks in and plops down onto the sofa beside Riano. He takes one glance at the TV and he also squints his eyes in confusion at why all of his brothers are watching this.

Because of that, I let loose a sigh and turn off the entire show in frustration.

I can't even watch my show in peace without them interrupting me

"Hey, why'd you turn it off?" Lorenzo pipes up from his place on the sofa.

"Yeah, I was enjoying that" Santi sniggers with a smirk.

I roll my eyes,

"Yeah, suurrrreeeee"

Lorenzo is quick to defend, "I was, its a good show"
