𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐇 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐍𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 as her and Bella walked into the Cullens garage. At least Bella had Edward to protect her because Elizabeth had absolutely no one. She didn't particularly like the feeling of being helpless and unprotected.
"I've had to fight our kind before—we're not easy to kill" Jasper informed the group from in front of everyone.
"I am so gonna need therapy after this" Elizabeth mumbled to herself despite knowing that every vampire in the room could hear it.
"But not impossible" Emmett added onto what Jasper had said, trying his best to be at least a little optimistic in a room full of pessimists.
Instead of staying by Edward and Bella she found herself migrating towards Rosalie—the woman being the closest friend she had here. They weren't exactly friends but they had established a bond of sorts.
"We'll tear them apart and burn them to pieces" Emmett continued, the thought making Elizabeth grimace.
"I don't relish in the thought of killing another creature—even a sadistic one like James." Carlisle admitted.
"What if he kills one of us first" Rosalie exclaimed as both her and Elizabeth jumped up onto the counter top. Rosalie wrapping a comforting arm around Elizabeth's shoulders. So maybe they were friends?
"I'm gonna run Bella south" Edward started, not even thinking about Elizabeth's safety when the tracker wanted her too.
"Woah—I'm in danger too asshole" Elizabeth retorted, her eyes mean and hateful as she stared the vampire boy down.
"We're not leaving Elizabeth" Bella demanded as she looked up at her boyfriend. At least someone had her back in all of this.
"Ok fine—I'm running them both south, can you lead the tracker away from here." Edward stated, the end of his statement more of a question.
"No Edward, James knows you would never leave Bella—he'll follow you." Carlisle explained.
"I'll go with Bella and Elizabeth—Jasper and I will drive them south. I'll keep both of them safe." Alice reassured, giving Elizabeth a comforting smile. Although it didn't really help, these were the two vampires she knew the least. Not to mention that out of all of them Jasper had the least control.
