the sullys got off of the airplane and went to collect their bags. a van had already came and picked up the other boxes of belongings. the airplane ride was relatively un-impressive, but they had gotten Tuk hooked on those airplane shortbread-bread sticks.
as the family was walking towards the doors from baggage claim Tuk had asked to go use the bathroom. "there is none in sight though sweetie, why didn't you go on the plane?" Neytiri asked. "the plane one is icky and i have to go now" Neytiri's face fell in defeat as she realised she would have to walk her daughter around to the bathroom. "it's ok. you guys wait here and i'll go with her" Neteyam offered, his mother giving him an appreciative look as the rest of them went to sit down.
from the map the bathroom wasn't too far. just down the hall.
after a 5 minute walk the pair arrived at the bathroom. "i'll wait out here for you Tuk" her older brother reassured. he leaned against the wall separating the men's and women's bathrooms scrolling on his phone when out of the corner of his eye he saw a young man walking towards the bathroom, he was rather attractive Neteyam thought. he tried to get a better look without looking like a creep. the guy looked about Neteyams age, he had dark very curly hair, he was wearing sunglasses, a white tank top with a teal button up ontop paired with denim shorts and light blue air jordan's. Neteyams couldn't help but notice the shell necklace the man was wearing. he appreciated accessories on outfits, he thought about his own assortment of bracelets he was wearing that his sisters had made him. that drove his mind back to his sister, who was coincidentally beside him ready to go back to the group. Neteyam didn't understand why he was drawn to the mysterious man but he just was, his mind quickly drifted back to his family when he saw them waiting by the door."the car is still getting shipped here, so for now we're in this" jake said as he pointed to a white van. "but...it's so basic..?" Lo'ak said/asked, he had a habit of saying things as if it were a question.
everyone loaded their things into the van and Jake connected his phone and then the GPS to their new adress. it had made itself visible that their new town was called awa'atlu, Hawaii. it was a basic town really, the drive from one side to the other of the town borders would be about an hour. surrounding it was beaches, forests and roads to other assorted towns.
(a/n, even if this isn't really what hawaii is like it's just for the story 😉)
after a little bit, the family arrived at their new house, they were definitely on the wealthier side of town that was for sure. it wasn't a massive house just bigger than their previous one. "will we have to share a room?" Lo'ak asked his father, it seemed like the only thing he wanted was to get away from his brother. "no..well.." jake started "what the wellll for dad?" Neteyam asked, dragging out the well. "theres three rooms upstairs, one on the middle floor and if you don't want to share there's one in the basement" Lo'ak yipped as he ran to the house, assumingely to claim the basement room. Neteyam knew kiri and tuk liked being close so he let them get the upstairs rooms so he was stuck with the middle floor room.
the house already had all the furniture it needed so all the family needed to do was unpack their bagged belongings while they waited for the moving van with their other possessions. from his room Neteyam could hear groaning from below him, he went downstairs to check it out and he found his brother re arranging his furniture.
"bro what are you doing?" he asked his younger brother, Lo'ak just replied with a look of "what do you think".
Neteyam shrugged and decided to leave him bee while we went to finish unpacking his own things. as he got upstairs the doorbell rang, he called for his father but went to answer it anyway.[{_**_**_**_**_**_**_**_**_**_**_**_**_}}
