all the stars by kendrick Lamar and SZA was playing throughout the house, the curly haired girl was french braiding her hair into two braids by her ears. she enjoyed the absence of chaos. it was the first week after school had been let out and she was getting ready to go to the theme park with her friends. her brother had driven off to the airport early that morning, he was going to australia for a lifeguarding internship for the summer. she was happy for him for getting a good internship but she just wished it had been closer to home, she wasn't one to hide her feelings so her family was quite tired of her talking about how much she would miss her beloved older brother.
after braiding her hair the girl picked out two outfits and went to ask her father which is better for the fair, except she couldn't find him. she found her mother on a phone call in her office so she waited in the doorway. after a moment of zoning out she was brought back by her mother. "yes Tsireya? what do you need?" without a word Tsireya held up the two outfits and her mother pointed to the one on the left. she nodded and bound back upstairs to get ready.
after a few minutes Tsireya was back downstairs waiting for her friends to get there to pick her up. while she was waiting she got thinking where her father was. then she remembered he had gone out to visit his work partner who had just moved here from Boston, apparently they were in the same neighbourhood. Tsireya thought about what the new people were like, they would probably go to her school the following fall. her thoughts got cut when she heard the doorbell ring, that must be her friends.
she walked out the door and was met with her friend zephyr.
the girls greeted eachother with a friendly hug and began walking to the car with their other friends, tsireya assessed her friends outfit while they walked. she had on a black corset top with blue jean shorts, a basic outfit but cute nonetheless.
they got to the small car where everyone was sitting in their spots, rotxo and fletcher in the back saving the driver seat for zephyr and passenger seat for tsireya.
The girl greeted both of the boys when she got in the car and buckled her seatbelt before Zephyr drove off to the fair grounds.
Roxto and Tsireya weren't blood related but their mothers were so close they were practically sisters, and Tsireyas brother was very close with Roxto they could pass as brothers as well, not to mention they looked quite alike and had started picking up on each others mannerisms. Tsireya and Roxto weren't nearly as close but they still treated eachother like siblings, they all practically were as Tsireyas family took care of Roxto after the incident...
