Eliza's pov,
I watched as a girl from my school gave an inspiring speech. The smile on my face still present from the moment i woke up to get ready.

Who knew the excitement from graduation would be radiating through my body.

I felt a hand being placed on mine as i quickly looked to my left to see my best friend Eleanor giving me a reassuranimg smile.

"Eve were almost out of here!" I say with excitement laced through my voice

She chuckled at me and my jittery body.

"Of course el. We just need to walk across that stage and we can finally call it quits"

She squeezed my hand and i rested my head on her shoulder to act as a hug in response.

We both looked at the stage as the girl kept talking to our peers, and the parents in the crowd.

I'm just one step closer to becoming a designer.

For as long as I could remember,

I was always drawn to clothes. Didn't matter if they were rags and useless, every fabric counts.

I remember my mom yelling at me for taking her clothes and cutting them up so i could give my Barbie dolls a "makeover".

Though she would be upset, she understood the reason behind my curiosity. Booking me in after school programs and participating in art, as a major in high school. I finally learned a few things about clothing designs and marketing.

For my freshman year of high school I met this girl named Eleanor, she was basically the same as me as we shared stories about her make over mistakes and wanting to always change what the Barbie was wearing.

I never found someone like her ever throughout my life and it'd be heart breaking to say the least.

But we knew what was best for me, so we prepared ourselves to face time each other everyday while i was away in college and her working a job to provide for her family.

Her mother was sick, and her sister was still too young to fend for herself. I felt bad for leaving but it was already too late.

Boarding a plane and saying my last goodbyes, staying in a university for my 4 years in college.

Or unless...wait never mind.

That would never happen.
