"Ki you woke?" my brother asked while knocking on my door
"I am now thank you" I said while getting up
Today I had a chill day a head of me. I checked the time and it was 8:30. My dentist appointment is at 10 so I immediately got in the shower. My mom came to make sure I was up and ended up talking to me the whole time I was in the bathroom, privacy huh.
Once I finished in the bathroom, I found the quickest, most decent outfit. I ended up wearing a white tank top with my grey nike shorts and new balance. Calm little fit for the day. I fixed my hair into a ponytail.
As I was getting ready to pull off, Erica called asking if she can spend the day with me. I told her I'll pick her up after my nail appointment. Good thing today was only a cleaning and check up day at the dentist. I had to meet my mom there because I still need an adult present until June 20th.
The appointment was only about an hour and a half. I had a nail appointment at 1:30, so I have about mins to spare until I have to make my way there. Since the nail techs house is near mine, I went home until it was time to go. I took a nap for about an hour and a half, then got myself ready to go.
My nail appointment was 2 hours long and I definitely was hungry when I was done. I called Erica letting her know I was on my way to her. We ended up staying on the phone and she FaceTimed me.
"Can you help me" she said holding her head like she was stressed out
"With what?"
"Finding something to wear"
"Okay let me see" She sat the phone up and she only had on a bra and some boy shorts, body tea! She showed multiple outfits and shoes to go with
"Why don't you wear the light blue denim shorts with either a black crop or the essential shirt"
"Okay thank you V"
"V?" I asked confused
"Your middle name, I seen it on your schedule that one time"
"Oh okay I get a nickname gahhhh" I said making us laugh together "I hope you almost ready because im 7 minutes away"
"Shit okay let me hurry up" she said while starting to rush
Watching her rush was kind of funny. She was tripping and stumbling over everything and all. Once I got to her house I asked if I could come in while she finishes getting ready. She let me in and I just sat on her bed. It took her 20 minutes to finish getting ready.
Once we left, we decided on going the movies and out to eat after. I wanted to see the new scary movie The Strangers, and even though she didn't like scary movies she still wats to go. While in the car I caught her staring at me but I didn't mind it. Without Lauren around, Erica is really a cool person. I really enjoy having her around.
We joked and laughed the entire time we were in the car. Found out she could sing like really good. I can't even lie she is really pretty like gorgeous!
We got to the movies and went inside. I wasn't too hungry anymore so I just got something to drink and Erica got popcorn, candy, and an ICEE. The movie didn't start for another 10 mins so we were just sitting in the theater. I made sure we got the seats so the way at the top by themselves, those are my favorite.
As the movie went on, Erica kept jumping. One time she jumped so hard popcorn got on the people in front of us. She held my hand the whole time, which I didn't mind. Sometimes when she got scared she would put her face in my arm so she wouldn't look at the screen. Really enjoyed my time with her.
After the movies, we went to Fridays. She said she has never been, which is crazy to me, so I decided to be the one to take her. It wasn't as crowded when we got there so we were able to sit down as soon as we got in.
"Sooooo what do you be eating from here?" Erica asked while looking through the menu
"You sure you wanna know?" I asked because my meal is really childish
"Uh yeah"
"I get chicken tenders and fries" I said while holding the menu
"Kierra boo it's time to try something new" she said laughing
"I like to stick to what I know"
"Hanging with me youre gonna try new stuff"
"Is that so?" I said tilting my head
"Absolutely V" she said copying me and we laughed
The rest of the time just flew by. The vibes the entire night were just immaculate! I hope we can do it again.
After dinner, I took her home. She held my hand thr entire time. We spent about 20 minutes in the car just talking and listening to music when we got to her house. When it was time for her to get out the car I did get a little sad because I didn't want her to go. I walked her to the door and hugged her before leaving.
Once I got home I called my bestfriend Shamika and told her about everything.
My feelings for Erica just grew a lot stronger today.
