Sadly it's Monday again which means I have to go back to school. It's not that I don't like the school, I just don't like getting up early in the morning. This is also the week that I have to be girly or Erica gets to do my makeup. She said herself that she isn't that good sooooo I think I have no choice but to win this bet.
I called Shamika to help me be because I really ain't know what to put on. Once we figured that out, I went to do my skin care and shower. As I was getting dressed Erica facetimed me. I can always get used to her calls.
"Hello"
"Hey V"
"Hi my love" I said without realizing until after, mentally punching myself in the head
"Uh" she said blushing "What are you doing up so early?"
"I had to find an outfit for this dare you know I wear baggy stuff"
"Oh shit I forgot about that" she said laughing causing me to drop my jaw
"Bruh I could have gotten away with it" I said pouting
"Awe don't pout V, you're gonna look pretty even though that's nothing new for you" she said making me smile
"Thank you uh what's your middle name"
"Monique"
"Thank you Monique" she smiled causing me to blush
I don't know what happened but I like it. We've been talking more than usual. Hopefully it's like this at school
"Uh V?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you pick me up? I wanna ride with you to school"
"Right now or when I'm on my way to school?"
"Right now you know if you can I don't wanna ride with Lauren"
"Im on my way, you can finish getting ready here" I said while heading downstairs
Once I got to her house, she came straight outside. She must've had everything together beforehand. We went to Dunkin' before going back to my house.
As soon as we got back, I had to finish getting ready. I had to just fix my hair though so I shouldn't take forever. Erica had to finish getting dressed too so she went in the guest room. I finished about 20 minutes later, so I went to check on her. As I got closer to the room I heard her arguing with someone. I sooner realized it was Lauren. When she was done talking I went in to check on her. She said Lauren was mad that she was riding with me to school. I comforted her as much as she allowed me then she finished getting ready.
We left the house and went straight to school. Erica's mood has been off since she got off the phone with that girl. I don't know what was said but I hope she's okay.
When we got to school, I asked if she was okay and she said yeah but i'm more than 100% sure that she is lying to me. I didn't want to force her to tell me what the actual problem was so I just told her whenever she's ready i'm here. As soon as we got out the car, I seen my favorite 2 people at this school. They also seen Erica get out of my car. Jakaylen did make a face towards us but I didn't think too much of it. I hugged Erica and we went our separate ways.
Noami, Jakaylen, and I went to class together since we all had first block with each other. They kept saying stuff about what I was wearing, in a good way. Nothing exciting was happening today in school so the day was kind of boring.
When lunch came around Erica texted me asking if she can sit with us. I told her yeah, Naomi and Jakaylen shouldn't have a problem with it I hope.
Throughout lunch, we talked and laughed the whole time. Jakaylen told embarrassing cheer stories of the two and every time Erica would hide in my arm. I didn't mind of course. Y'all know that my girl lol. I felt somebody watching us the whole time and it was definitely Lauren. When I tried to tell Erica she just brushed it off so I didn't bring it up anymore.
After lunch, we had two more classes. My last class was art of course. We were still working on our projects because they're due Friday. The teacher gave us the same information and let us do our thing.
"How much more of your project do you have to do?" Erica asked while looking at my paper
"Not that much, just gotta shade it in and clean it up"
"Mhm, I have a shit ton of stuff to do"
"Need help?" I asked finally looking up
"Please" she said chucking a bit
"I got you. You can come over or I can come to your house after school on day this week"
"Okay I'll let you know my cheer schedule for the week" I nodded my head to acknowledge her
Class came to an end and it was time to go home. I seen Naomi and Jakaylen before leaving. Me and Naomi decided to get some food and go to my house and do some work. I can say that our friendship, including Jakaylen, has grown a lot in a good way. I don't know what I would've did without them honestly. Probably fighting and skipping school.
When we got to my house, I introduced her to my mom then we went upstairs. We decided to work on stuff from the classes we have together just to help one another.
Around 9pm, she left to go home. I cleaned the little mess that was made and got ready for bed. As I was doing my skin care, Erica called. We talked for a bit before I started getting sleepy. She wanted to stay on the phone while we slept, so we did just that.
