I take a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as I get ready for my date with Alan. I've already gotten my nails and toes done, and now I'm heading to Daisy's Boutique, the store Alan said where my dress would be.

As I pull up to the shop, I can't help but notice how fancy it looks. The exterior is sleek and modern, with a sign that reads "Daisy's Boutique" in elegant script. I step out of my car and take a deep breath, feeling a little out of my league. Yeah, I've got some money but this is all a little too much.

Inside, the store is just as impressive. The walls are lined with designer dresses and the floor is made of gleaming marble. I feel like I'm in a different world.

A sales associate approaches me, smiling brightly. "Hi there! Do you need any help?"
I hesitate for a moment before responding. "I'm here to pick something up. Alan ordered a dress for me?"
The associate's eyes light up. "Ah, yes! Mr. Alan's order. Let me just check in the back."

She disappears into a rear room, leaving me to take in the lavish surroundings. I can't help but wonder what kind of dress Alan has chosen for me... and what kind of night he has planned.

The sales associate returns with a sleek black box in her hands. "Here we are!" she says with a smile. "Mr. Alan's selection for you."

She opens the box, revealing the most majestic green dress I've ever laid eyes on. It's nestled in tissue paper, and the fabric seems to shimmer in the light. It's a dark emerald green dress. I run my hands over the lace designs that cover the top of the dress. The spaghetti straps also have the same design on them.

I gasp, my heart racing with excitement. The associate carefully lifts the dress out of the box and hands it to me. I take it from her, feeling the weight and luxury of the fabric. Upon further inspection of the dress, I notice a slit that runs from the mid-thigh down to the bottom of the dress. It's like nothing I've ever worn before. I guess he knows what he's doing. Makes me wonder if he's ever done this for anyone else.

As I hold the dress up, I notice the price tag attached to it. My eyes widen in shock, $50,000?! This dress costs more than my damn car.

I turn to the sales associate, my voice barely above a whisper. "Is this...is this the right dress? The one Alan ordered for me?"

The associate nods, smiling. "Yes, that's the one. Mr. Alan specified that he wanted something special for you, and this dress fit the bill."

I'm still in shock, but I manage to stammer out a thank you as I gaze at the dress in awe.

The associate's smile widens. "Ah, the dress, it is stunning, no? Mr. Alan specified he wanted the most exquisite design for you, and this one, it is perfection." She gestures gracefully towards the tailor's room. "Please, follow me, and we'll get the alterations done. Our tailor will make sure it is fitted to your precise measurements, so it hugs your curves like a glove." I nod, still in amazement, as she leads me to the cozy room, the sound of pins snapping and fabric rustling filling the air.

The associate leads me to the tailor's room, introducing me to the old but lovely tailoress, Madame Colette. "Madame Collette, this is Crystal. She needs a few alterations done for the dress Mr. Alan selected." Madame Colette's warm eyes smile as she greets me. I step up onto the platform in the center of the room, and Madame Colette gets to work, her skilled hands measuring and pinning with precision.

As she works, she says, "Mr. Alan never picks out such beautiful dresses for girls, you must be special." I feel a flutter in my chest at her words, and then my mind starts to wonder... Madame Colette notices my far-off gaze and smiles knowingly, her eyes twinkling with understanding.
