5. THE CREATURES (1)

         We have returned ! Xanthous "centaur" declared his voice thundering across the land. "The sweet taste of freedom is once again ours! For eons, we were imprisoned in the Abyss of Eternal Darkness, our powers bound by the Warlock, Jonathan Crane, who dared to defy our might. But now, we are free!"
         The gathered creatures roared in triumph, their voices echoing through the desolate landscape.
         "We will not forget the injustice done to us,"  Xanthous  continued, his eyes blazing with fury. "We will find the Golden key and the Warlock's Book, and with their power, we shall exact our revenge upon Jonathan crane and his kin! And anyone who comes to stand in our way shall suffer the same fate!"
           The creatures cheered, their cries shaking the earth, as they vowed to crush any opposition and ensure their dominance.

Jonathan Crane? "Klein asked, curiosity etched on his face.
    
"Ah, Jonathan Crane, "Dalai Lama replied, "one of the most powerful Warlock in history. He created the Golden key, Imprisoned those creatures millions of years ago. He also wrote and sealed this warlock book"

Meddy's eyes widened. "Where is he now?"
       
Dalai Lama's expression turned somber. "He vanished long ago, leaving us vulnerable to the very creatures he once defeated."

Laura's voice trembled. "We're doomed, then"

Meddy's eyes welled up with tears. "I shouldn't have touched the key from the first place and read those symbols, from the key."

Dalai Lama's curiosity piqued "speaking of the golden key, how were you able to read those symbols, Meddy? You are human."

Meddy shook her head. "I don't know."

Klein suggested, " we should return to our city  and regroup. We need a plan."

Laura's concern was evident. "But it's not safe out there. Creatures, Monsters, and Demons lurk, like that beast we encountered earlier."

Klein's determination shone through. "We have to try. Our friends are in danger. We can't abandon them, Dalai please can we go now!

Dalai Lama nodded. "Very well let us return. "With a wave of his hand, a portal appeared. They stepped through it, ready to face the challenges ahead. But as soon as they emerged on the other side, the portal snapped shut behind them, enveloping them in an eerie darkness that seemed to pulse with a malevolent life of its own.
