Katsuki stayed silent for a few moments, digesting the prince's words. "Your mother was kind... to everyone...?" He couldn't help but feel a bit surprised that the prince's mother had been so kind to so many people. Even if she had been betrayed in the end. I looked up at the sky as I answered. “ Yeah.”

"Huh... So... she didn't have a reason to be kind... but still was..." Katsuki said quietly, staring at the stars. "...That's admirable..." It was one hell of a thing that the prince's mother did. And he couldn't help but feel slightly impressed by it. “ It is, isn’t it?” I answered before sighing, looking at whatever my eyes could find. Katsuki was silent, just looking at the sky, the night was a calm one. It was one of those nights where nothing really felt wrong. No one was getting hurt, no one was mad, no one was shouting or screaming. It was calm. "Would your mother have been proud of you...? For not holding grudges?" He asked, turning to look at the prince. I looked up at him before I smiled at his question. " I hope to believe so." I answered. Katsuki smiled at the prince's answer, looking back at the sky as well. They were just two boys with troubled pasts, lying side by side, watching the stars. It felt nice. Surprisingly peaceful. "She would be, I can assure you..." He said quietly.

I looked at him as he said that. “ You think so?” I asked. Katsuki spoke up. "Yeah... I may not have met your mother... but just based off of what you're telling me, she would definitely be proud of you," He said, his gaze directed towards the stars as he watched a shooting star cross the night sky, "She'd be proud that you were following in her footsteps... being kind despite it all." I fell silent as he spoke before answering quietly. “ Yeah..” Katsuki chuckled quietly, a soft, small smile on his face. "You know..." He said eventually, turning to look at the prince, a glint sparking in his eye. "The stars are bright tonight... don't you think?" I chuckled lightly before answering. “ They are.”
