Laerra stepped out of the carriage, followed by her husband, who was carrying their son, Tristian, who had been born only the previous year. They were preparing for their second as she touched her bump.

They had arrived in King's Landing as her twin would marry their cousin, Rhaenyra. The twins and Laena had only seen each other just months ago.

"Sister!" She heard a shout as she turned from watching her husband to see Laena running at her. Laena stopped shortly so as not to run into her heavily pregnant sister.

"Another so soon?" Laena asked, looking at Dorian, who refused to look at her. "Have you been well? Did you eat?" She asked, placing a hand on the bump, causing Laerra to smile.

"I have been fine, sister, though I cannot say the same about this one." Laerra started brushing her hand over her son's head. "He has been feeling quite warm as of last night."

"Mayhaps he just missed his aunt," Laena said, smiling at the boy as he reached for her. Laerra smiled as she watched her sister hold Tristian in her arms.

"I think we've been forgotten," Dorian said as he took her arm, watching Laena walk back into the castle walls and listen to the babies babbling.

"Laerra!" Laenor shouted as he stopped by the doors, smiling with open arms. "Laenor!" She yelled back as she shuffled toward him with Dorian's help.

Laenor hurried to her to stop her from straining herself. "You are to be wed!" She said with a bright smile as she embraced her twin brother.

"Does she know?" She whispered into her brother's ear. Laenor nodded, causing her to pat his back as they pulled away. "Have you treated her well since my absence?" Laenor asked, looking at Dorian.

Dorian looked between the two before Laenor laughed, pulling him into a hug. "It is good to see you," Laenor said, looking at his sister's bump.

"What do you believe it to be?" He asked with a smile, touching it. "Girl." "Boy." The two said, looking at each other before she hit Dorian's arm.

"It shall be loved regardless," Laenor said as he wrapped his arm around his sister, helping her into the castle walls and leaving Dorian behind.

"My dearest!" The twins heard as they entered the courtyard of the castle. Rhaenys stood, arms wide open, with a bright smile. "Mother!" Laerra shouted as Laenor helped her, and Rhaenys hurried to them.

Rhaenys took her daughter into her arms while Corlys strayed behind, watching Dorian, who smiled fondly at his wife and mother-in-law.

"Have you been well?" Rhaenys asked, pulling away but still holding her daughter in her arms. "I have been well looked after," Laerra says as she motions Dorian over.

Dorian hurried over to his wife, and Rhaenys patted his arm. "You both have grown well. I have seen Tristan and am so proud of you, my dear." Rhaenys says as she brushes a hand through her daughter's hair.

"Thank you, Mother," Laerra said with a smile as she looked past her mother to her father. Laenor stepped back up, taking his sister's arm as Rhaenys took her hand. They walked past Corlys and toward Rhaenyras chambers.
