The Past Comes Back

After clearing the 55th boss, Cal and Silica to work for Lisbeth so she wouldn't be as stressed out, and it was working. She seemed more relaxed than when she started. However, due to the duel and promise, Cal had to train harder than ever to at least be higher than everyone else. Though Kirito had caught up and passed him in levels. Then there's Asuna, she had told the Knights of The Blood Oath to not say anything about the duel or what Cal was. But in return, she asked Cal to tell Klein plus his Guild, Agil, and Kirito. Which he agreed to.

Cal is seen in the store helping out a costumer as Lisbeth was making a war hammer.

Player: Thank you guys, you're the best!

Lisbeth: No problem! Come again!

The player leaves as Agil comes in. This surprised Cal.

"Hey Agil, what are you doing here?"

Agil: Hey Cal, we're having a meeting. It's about the boss raid.

Lisbeth: Jeeze, that was fast.

"Wait, you guys are already done? Why didn't you have me come along?"

Agil: Asuna wanted to let you work with Lisbeth here. And no, there's a gate boss we need to take out. Since you're The Dark Jedi, it could be easier to take it out.

Lisbeth sighs in disappointment, but Y/N puts his hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'll be back before you know it."

Lisbeth: Just... please don't die.

He grabs her left hand firmly with his hand as his right hand was in her cheek. She looks at him with eyes of fear, just for his life.

"Everything will work out, trust me."

Lisbeth nods before giving him a goodbye kiss, before he left with Agil.

As the two started walking, Agil started up a coverataion.

Agil: So Cal... Lisbeth, how did you land her?

"Uh... Well, I'm not sure. Though we met just after I received my lightsaber and the skills I quired with it. I saved her from some monsters, showed her where I got the saber, and we agreed to work together till S.A.O was finshed."

Agil: I guess life had other plans, huh?

Agil said this with a smug on his face.

"Yeah, believe or not, I did have feelings for her, but I decided to hide them. My powers somehow kept me calm when I was with her, didn't even stutter."

Agil: So who confessed?

"I did, well sorta... we were so oblivious to notice the other had feelings for the other. But after I got Lisbeth her hairpin for her birthday, then something brought us to... you know, then I confessed to her."

Agil: Hehe, well I'm happy for you two. You two seem to match like peanut butter and jelly, or cookies and milk.

"Well, I guess you can put our relationship like that, though we do have our fair share of struggles. It takes a lot of work, but we make it work. Do you have someone?"

Agil: Yep, a wife in the real world.

"Heh, nice!"

Agil: And we're here...
