Chase Down the Leader

Izuku: *Muttering* "They're the type that blow when stepped on! They're only strong enough to toss us around a bit, but...! If you're thrown off course, you could cause a chain reaction and lose a lot of time! Better to slow down and avoid them if it means not taking damage! Not like the leaping types can afford to get careless either. There are more mines to dodge up front... and trying to slow down others is a guaranteed time loss. Anti-personnal mines should only be 14-15 cm down. I can dig 'em up with this!!"

Midoryia starts digging up mines.

Izuku: "Yeah! Yeah!"

Jiro: "What're you doing, Midoryia...!"

Mic: "Bakugo and Todoroki are in the lead! They're about to cross the finish line..."

Izuku: Taking a page from your book Kacchan! Great blasting turbo speed!!

Katsuki is in front of Shoto, Ida, Fumikage, and Ibara. There's a loud bang.

Mic: "And Class A's Midoriya rides the wave in hot pursuit... or something!!"

Fumikage looks behind it.

Fumikage: "Tch!"

Tenya: "Midoryia!"

Ejiro and Tetsutesu look in shock. Ibara keeps moving forward. Tsuyu looks back. Shoto and Katsuki stare as Izuku flies over them.

Mic: "He passed them!"

Y/n: Did Izuku hit Katsuki in the head?

Izuku: Yup... This is intense! I hit 'im in the head! Wait. The landing... I didn't think this far ahead!!

Katsuki: "Dekkuuuu!!! Get the hell back here!!"

Shoto makes an ice path.

Shoto: This path'll end up helping the others but... "No time to worry about them...!"

Mic: "Our former leaders have called a cease-fire to chase down Midoryia! When a common enemy appears people stop fighting!! Well actually, they're-- mppmhp!"

Y/n covers his mouth.

Y/n: "What he's trying to say is that they're reneacting the phrase, 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend.' This is an ancient proverb that suggests that two parties can or should work together against a common enemy.

Mic: "Yeah that!"

Izuku: "!!" Uh oh! I'm stalling...! Of course it's coming away from me! If I lose time on this landing, passing them again  will be impossible!! Crap! No! Don't let go!"

Shoto and Katsuki reach Midoryia.

Izuku: If passing them again is impossible... Then I gotta stay in the lead!!

Midoryia slams the chunk of metal down setting off multiple mines.

Boom!

Shoto and Katsuki lookaway and cover themselves from the debris.

Mic: "And Midoryia blows off the competition with no time to lose! Your class is something else Eraser Head! What're you teaching these kids?"

Y/n: "We've been spurring each other on since the USJ incident."

Mic: "The one who made it back to the stadium second is... None other than Izuku Midoryia!!"

Y/n hugs Izuku as they appear on Tv together.

Deatharms: "That kid... Isn't he... a year ago...!" 

Mt Lady: "That's Endeavors daughter hugging him!"
