It was the dead of night, and there was a calm hush throughout the hotel. Everyone were fast asleep, the weariness of the day pressing down on their bodies and minds. Stelle was struggling with a nightmare as she lay restless in one of the rooms, her body moving uncontrollably.

Her forehead began to perspire, causing her brow to wrinkle. Her breathing became irregular and her eyes jerked open. She jolted to her feet, holding the blanket to her chest to help her get rid of the nightmare's residual effects.

As Stelle stood on the balcony, her mind kept drifting back to the strange voice from her dream. It felt so real, so urgent.

Stelle: (thinking)* That strange voice again... such a strange dream. I might as well go for a walk if I can't sleep. Some fresh air might help me ponder what it was about.*

Determined to clear her head, Stelle quietly left her room and made her way out of the hotel. As she stepped into the cool night air, she immediately felt a bit more at ease. The peaceful surroundings of the night contrasted sharply with the turmoil in her mind.

Stelle walked for a bit, lost in her thoughts, when she noticed a familiar figure standing under a streetlamp near the entrance of the hotel. It was Bronya, her posture tense and her expression filled with worry. She seemed to be deep in thought, unaware of Stelle's approach.

As Stelle quietly approached Bronya from behind, her footsteps were barely audible on the cobblestone path. Bronya, lost in her thoughts, suddenly tensed at the faint sound, her training kicking in instinctively. She whirled around, eyes sharp and alert.

Bronya: Who goes there? Show yourself!

Her voice was firm, ready to face any threat. When she saw it was Stelle, her expression softened slightly, though a hint of irritation remained.

Bronya: It's you. Don't sneak up behind me next time. Lucky for you I wasn't arm , You couldn't get any sleep either, huh?

Stelle: Well, I've been having nightmares recently.

Bronya sighed in relief, her expression softening as she finally found the chance to voice her concerns.

Bronya: I understand. The more that weighs on your mind, the more your fears become dreamscapes. Actually, seeing as there's no one around... can I ask you some things? This Stellaron you speak of... if you were to find it, how sure are you that you could stop the Eternal Freeze?

Stelle put her hand behind her back, her confidence unwavering.

Stelle: Well, I can't say for certain it will end the Eternal Freeze, but I'm sure that taking out the main cause will eventually stop the snow from forming. So, I'll say 100%!

Bronya: Your confidence actually makes me even more worried... This isn't like helping a child make a snowball. You know, it was difficult for me to believe you. Some of the words you use are too alien for those that have lived their entire life in Belobog. As far as I was concerned, Madam Cocolia's order to arrest you sounded reasonable... but why didn't she issue it straight away? She must have realized something about you... Something I haven't yet been able to perceive for myself, and it bothers me... What must have transpired to cause her such a drastic change? Still, orders are orders. It's not for soldiers to question their superiors.

As Stelle tried to lift the atmosphere, she offered a reassuring smile.

Stelle: Hey, at least you were following orders, right? Besides, you had no choice but to obey her.

Bronya's expression remained serious, a hint of frustration in her eyes.

Bronya: I don't need you to absolve me. The truth is, I didn't have every confidence that I was doing the right thing, but the sense of duty to carry out an order is bound to prevail with me. In the past, Overworld soldiers on the front line would lose their lives in droves, and yet the Fragmentum's advance would remain unaffected.
