SO, SHE TAUGHT Miss Quella the counter suggestion the moment she agreed with her plan.

"This. . . Is this going to work? Maybe. . . Maybe they might find out and. . ." Lumikot ang mga mata nito, and she can sense the anxiety in her voice.

"Trust me, they won't. And if you are afraid that. . . I might end up just like the others, I won't. I will fight, Miss Quella. We will fight," she assured her, her voice bearing conviction.

Kahit siya, may pagdududa. Pero susubukin niya. At least. . . she tried. She fought. And if their plan will be successful, she will take Miss Quella out from this hellhole.

Her hazel eyes looked at her, and she could see the doubts and fear sparking.

"Please. . . Please be safe." May pagmamakaawa sa boses nito, and tears glistened in her eyes. Although Miss Quella is wearing a mask, she can already imagine her lips forming into a frown.

She felt her chest tighten at the sight, and she had to look away to breathe for a moment before nodding at her.

"I will."

"They might be looking at us through the glass. Let's avoid contact," she stated before leaving her. Mahirap na. They must do this carefully in order for their plan to succeed.

"What did you two talk about?"

Kaagad niya itong nilingon. Not reacting immediately will make him suspect that she planned something. . . that could put her at risk.

His blue eyes were looking at her, void of emotions. Pero hindi siya nagpatinag dito.

"We talked about her trauma, Doc."

Trauma. . . From what she had heard, they threatened Miss Quella that if she revealed anything about the previous chemists, they would kill the new one. Miss Quella should only speak about her 'made up' trauma.

That's. . . how cruel they are. And upon knowing that, mas dapat niya pang mag-ingat sa kanyang mga galaw.

"It's sad that her trauma prevents her from going back to their home."

Because Miss Quella's made-up trauma should be about her abusive father, kaya ayaw nitong manatili sa bahay at piniling manatili sa laboratory. But all of those didn't happen. The devils just told her to tell a lie.

"Yeah. We told her a lot of times that her father already got jailed, pero ayaw niya pa rin. She's really traumatized, and only hypnosis will work. Nagre-relapse siya sa psychiatrist at psychologist, and now, suggestions couldn't penetrate through her brain," mahabang ani nito, so she pretended to be sad, too, kahit ang totoo, gusto niya nang umalis sa harap nito.

Thinking that the man in front of her. . . killed someone makes shiver run down her spine. But she tried to mask her emotions and put her hands inside the pockets of her coat.

She clenched her fists, and she felt how cold her palms were. Still, she managed to give the doctor a small smile.

"I hope the medicine that I made will finally work. . ." Kunwari pa siyang bumuga ng hangin, but inside the pockets of her lab coat, she kept on digging her thumbnail into her palm.
